This place is tucked away at the basement corner of Far East Plaza. Food is halal (Muslim-owned, so no need MUIS certification). Prices are cheaper than the food shops upstairs. Food wise, not bad. I had tom yum with rice. The soup looks dilute BUT tastes good! It is not super spicy. There are fresh shrimps(4), crab stick pieces, fishball, inoki mushroom. Visually, it could do with kaffir leave for colour. I would love it if they put in at least a slice of fish and a ring of squid for variety. Yes. I will come back to try its other dishes. But, it is something I would not crave to cme back again and again. Serving staff is friendly and respectful, but does not appear to understand English well.

Ofira Amazing Thai Food has been my go to Thai restaurant for YEARS when in Orchard :) The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. The food is almost always ready in less than 10mins upon placing our order. The food is always delicious and comforting. It tastes amazing each time! The portion size is generous, considering the affordability of these delicious food. Will always recommend this restaurant!! ❤️ The food and ambience will always be 10/10

My go-to place to eat halal food in FEP. Very affordable, nice and fast. Always ordered the chicken cutlet and its always fresh and nice. Went here multiple times but the last one my cutlet was overcooked 😭😭 but still better than other halal shops here though. Thanks for the affordability

Probably the most underrated Thai Food store in Singapore. The price is so affordable for majority of locals and foreigners. Service by the staff is excellent and the boss is extremely jovial and kind, adding to the amazing atmosphere. The homestyle Thai cooking is tasty and the cooks are able to customized to your liking. I truly will recommend to all to come by and enjoy the cozy eatery!

I must admit, my partner and I were attracted because of the price. We didn't read the reviews because we were quite hungry and curious at the same time. The service was fast. No complaints, 5/5. But, when the food arrived, we understood why the recent reviews were quite bad. We ordered rice with beef, green curry and vegetable. Paid $18.90. The portions were sad, especially the beef rice. The curry has few bone-in drummette or wing part that has the least meat with 2 brinjal. Honestly, the food tasted good. With the location, it is indeed impossible to sell proper food at this price, but probably the owner decided to chop the portion to win competition from the nearby larger Thai restaurant. Frankly we would pay a higher price point for a decent portion of meal. We were left unsatisfied and need to go to other place for second serving, brings the cost of the lunch to exceed the other restaurants in the area. Yes we could order more but the experience deterred us from ordering anything else, in the future as well.
