This corner stall sells apam balik in several flavours and fillings. We shared the original pancake with peanut filling and the green tea pancake with red bean filling. The crushed peanuts seemed to be dark-roasted for a deep, nutty flavour, while the red bean paste was very thick and smooth. If I had to pick just one, it would be the peanut. Both had a good level of sweetness and it was very satisfying to sink our teeth into the fluffy pancakes.

I passby munchi pancake after buying stuff from fairprice and the aroma of pancake are so attractive. I approach to the booth. A staff name siti zarina approach to me and say good morning sir, welcome to munchi pancake. How can i assist you sir ? I feel the staff are very friendly and well trained. This is the first time i visit munchi hougang . So, i ask the same staff. She recommend me the charcoal biscoff flavour and both me and my wife feel the taste is marvelous after we eat. The biscuit thing inside enrich the taste of min jiang kueh. I never eat the min jiang kueh delicious like this. The experience is good. I will definitely recommend to my friend

Pancake is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Ingredients used are fresh and can taste the sweetness of the ingredients. Black sesame is a pleasant surprise.

Maybe I came on the wrong day but the filling became so thin today (27th Jan evening). I ate most of the pancake but felt upset enough to post a photo of what it looks like top and bottom, barely any filling at all. I’m eating just plain flour pancake. Bought 4 pieces and all were this pathetic with little smidge of filling. We patronised this place many times and am so disappointed to see they cut corners this drastically.

Love their pancakes. Super soft texture and generous fillings. It’s always my to go snacks or tea break. Comes with many different kind of fillings. Especially love their peanut and biscoff.

Nice traditional Ming Jiang kueh! Like the black sesame and peanut pancake, the filling much enough and not too sweet. Yummy.

Really nice pancakes and novel flavours! Used to be something only my grandma loves, with more standard flavours like red been and peanut. But now it's something I can enjoy with my grandma, with flavours that are more interesting like Lotus Biscoff and Black Sesame, as well as Charcoal flavoured pancakes. Will be back!
