The back breaking hardworking staff here at Munchi Pancakes Junction 8 really make good stuff. When I asked if it was crispy, Ivan selected the sides and promised that I will come back for more. I did. See you at kallang wave mall outlet! I'll be back for more.

I bought a hazelnut pancake on 15 May '26 afternoon. It was flat, dry, and hard. Such a letdown! I guess there's no quality check across the branches. Some branches are good but the Junction 8 branch is really terrible.

Always loved Munchi for their quality and variety of flavours, but I really do feel the training of staff could be better. Arrived to order my food which needed to be cut fresh and filled so I expected to wait for awhile, however the staff behind decided they would cut two big boards of Min Jiang Kueh before fulfilling my order which I found quite strange. The refills she had cut up had no orders and no customer orders, and led to me waiting for much longer then I truly felt should have been needed. After passing it to the front the cashier place both my orders down and fulfilled another customers bag and payment first despite me having already waited for quite some time. I understand that it was nearer to the end of the day and the staff may have been quite tired but I feel it’s small things like this that affect the customer experience and training the proper workflow. While this was something upsetting that I felt should be brought up, I still think Munchi is great for their quality and modern take on a local favourite, and hope this can come as constructive feedback instead of criticism.

Decided to try their munchi and ordered the kopi flavor. There was about a 15-minute wait as they were short on manpower, but the staff handled it really well. Even though he looked tired, he continued serving with a smile and thanked every customer. Truly appreciate the heartfelt service and the good food. Thank you!

I’ve had Munchi pancakes at other outlets before and they’re usually always packed with filling, so this experience really stood out in a bad way. This time I ordered a hazelnut flavour, the spread was minimal, and it ended up tasting bland and underwhelming. I really hope this was just a one-off, because no one should be getting a pancake like this.
