One of the best Malay snacks around. Their epok epok are damn shiok. Jack fruit fritters also shiok. Same quality but cheaper than their T3 branch.

I have no issue with the food choices here but the chairs are not good for big sized people. Too soft that the moment I sit, I can feel the legs start to spread. Sometimes I have to put an extra chair to make it sturdy. Can the management change the chairs, please?

There is a fantastic ayam penyet here, probably one of the best I've ever had. The chicken is moist and crunchy, and the sambal is extremely flavorful. There is also a putu piring stall that is very much worth queuing for!

Tahu goreng - $4 Teh o limau kosong ais - $1.80 Putu piring - $3.50 I found the tahu goreng decent. The sauce was tasty but I wish it was a little less sweet. The haig road putu piring is really good though. It was super soft and fluffy and had a mound of shredded coconut to go with it. Will come back just for the putu piring.

Whenever I am within the Geylang Serai area, Mr. Teh Tarik is one of my favorite places to go. We went there to get our Hokkien mee and fried Kway Teow for lunch. It is near the entrance just beside the pisang goreng stall. As always, the 2 dishes we ordered are Hokkien mee and fried kway teow. Ironically, although the menu is Chinese but the cook is of Indian heritage and he cooks it perfectly and fast too. You don't have to wait long to get your food. The Hokkien mee was flavourful and not too soggy. Fresh prawns and ingredients. The Fried Kway Teow with clams is spot on too. The "char" taste is present with the right amount of sweet dark sauce. Then coupled with teh tarik to end your meal is so blissfully satisfying. Give it a try if you are nearby.

Warung Syuhadah nasi lemak and nasi rawon taste wasn't nice. All 4 of my family agreed. Chicken was so dry and hard. Begedil was very very oily too.

Got some fried items to go and they were delicious and affordable! There’s a wideee variety of fried snacks to choose from, definitely vegetarian friendly. Grab some piping hot snacks if you’re in the area, before you do any shopping. You can also ask for some additional “kerak” in Malay (basically just fried crispy bits). YUM!

I had a great experience at Mr Teh Tarik Eating House! The place is clean and tidy, and the service is quick. They have a good variety of food choices. It's a nice spot to hang out with friends or family. Will visit again for sure!

Nice place to have a good meal. Really nice and good food served here. However, this place can be better in tidiness. The returned tray rack, for example, is disgustingly dirty.
