Not to my liking, overcooked with burnt banana leaves chipped off easily with the meat, too much shredded coconut and less fish paste, 0.9sgd per piece is just too expensive

The taste and texture is interesting and worth a try It's different from the usual otak, and more like you're eating coconut flakes with a fishy taste, resembles "dry" satay a little Size is very inconsistent though, bought 10 and 3 of them were quite thin. Overall size has shrunk alot compared to past photos I saw from other reviews.

One of the worst otah i had. No fish meat, all rempah, and super spicy. 5pcs for $4.50, eat no fish meat. Strongly NOT recommended.

This otak is like no other i have ever had in my almost 50 years on this earth! It has a much deeper flavour of curry and spice, and its texture is so unique. It’s less smooth, and flakier than the “regular” otak. Speaking to the boss, i learnt that is coz a good deal of coconut flakes go into their otak, together with the fish meat. And the absence of flour used more copiously in the regular otak makes this otak special and crumblier. Dare i say this is the best otak i’ve had in as long as i can remember!

Understand if you need to raise price but be reasonable to maintain quality and quantity. Taste dropped and not value for money. Can’t taste any fish anymore
