i am quite baffled at the poor rating, i have been eating here since my school days because of the lack of halal mala in singapore back then and even now i still frequent this stall at this mall. i am a BIG BACK, so i will naturally take many ingredients for my mala bowl. my mala has always been $16-$24 for a mountain of selection for 2 people. if i am sharing with more friends, it will go to $35. i think it is quite reasonable because you most definitely cannot expect a hawker or "normal" mala price considering you are eating in an area where expats live.

THERE WAS A BUG, looks like a mosquito in my food. My partner saw it in her bowl under the noodles. I wasn't certain at first but it has legs and a body. I brought it up to the cashier and they just apologised. I always eat at Monster Chili Mala but this was a disappointment. Made me lose my appetite. Wanted to take a pic of the bug but when I showed the cashier, she brought it into the kitchen and I couldnt get a pic.

This was $20. A bit Pricier than expected. The mala was not my favorite. However it is in a mall canteen so was expecting it not to be the best but I’ve had better for cheaper. Unless you’re really craving (like me today) I’d go elsewhere. Positives is that it’s halal, and the people were very friendly.

Taste wise, this has to be the worst fried mala I ever had. Cost is high too. They don't let you view the scales when weighing.

Never again. Charged $23.30 for 5 types of vegetables. When I tried to get clarification, the response was we charge by weight. We are not a Yong Tau Hu store. Soup was MSG-laden. I cannot recommend.
