The pasta was decent, sauce is good but improvement can be made. Food was served slightly slow up to 20 minutes, understandably during lunch hours although there are many staff walking around. For the free flow drinks, the staff will give you the cup before you take the drinks. Was confused at first.

This was a joint restaurant with Tokyo Shokudo. I dine at Tokyo Shokudo and have a negative experience, nothing like the one I being to at Westgate Branch. Food wise, the ramen tastes really subpar. In terms of service, I believe there's a lot of room to improve. I went during the peak period of lunch time, at about 1220pm. There were a total 3 serving staff and they were also responsible for the cashier. You could see they were clearly understaffed. All of my orders I had almost came 25 minutes, it was served at piece-meal and not all at once. This was really a big letdown. Atmosphere wise, to be honest, I feel like dining in a food court setting... Will not patronize this particular branch again, don't recommend it to other diners.

pale looking pasta and pasta taste like a better quality of maggie mee that’s all. pizza took 20min to serve and toppings were sad (cos $6.9). corn serving was so little and butter gave too much, makes the whole dish oily. S… restaurant win

This shop is newly opened, it is found right beside Tokyo Shokudo at the basement. Service of the food was quite fast, even more so on a Sunday afternoon. Note that they do charge service charge and GST as well. Pasta is quite creamy and delicious, I really enjoyed it. Smoked duck carbonara also has fragrant hints of fried garlic bits, very unique but well done. Would come here again to try the other menu items.

Service is quite good, but rather slow. Finished the first dish which was curry doria before the rest of the mains came. Food quality is slightly better than Saizeriya. The sauces are creamier and thicker, and food presentation looks better. Fries are crispier, corn has actual butter taste. However, the price is at least 20%- 30% more expensive than Saizeriya, and there are also service and GST charges. Spent $50 on 5 main dishes. Paid about $60 overall as $10 goes to GST and service charge. Would rather stick with Saizeriya for slightly worse quality of food but at a much more wallet friendly pricing.

1st and last visit. Similar food menu items as Saizeriya but maybe 30% more expensive. Ordered Duck Carbonara, Beef Bolognese, Pescatora and French Fries. My boy did not like the Duck Carbonara. The Beef Bolognese had a weird awful smell to it and my girl did not Iike it. Both dishes were almost untouched. Pescatora sauce tasted like normal ketchup and there were not much ingredients. The French Fries was OK normal but small portion. Place is a little small. Totally regretted coming here. Not recommended and will not be coming back. 👎🏽 Should have just gone to Saizeriya. Cheaper and nicer (for its value). Had to go to McD for 2nd round. Even eating McD was better than this.

The food portion at Milan Shokudo is miserable and taste too salty. Service is also disappointing, we are not given cutlery after we are seated. Ordered 4 dishes and none of it is edible. The salmon smell fishy and the meat is rough and dry. The fries is hot but oily. The dessert pizza is tough like biscuit. Should have just gone to Saizeriya, which is better value and taste better. Also, Saizeriya have better drink bar.

Wasn’t a good experience, this time JFH seemed to just have opened this for the sake of diversifying. Had the pasta on promotion so $1 more for soup and bread. Pasta noodle itself is good - springy, well-textured, cooked Al dente. I had the carbonara with smoked duck - which was just a lot of cream and salt. The additional egg helped. The corn soup tasted like watery brine with some remnants of minced corn. Ran out of soup mix, cream or starch perhaps. I didn’t go past the first spoonful. I hope this was a one off incident. Bread itself was ok in texture and warmth - not sure about hints of crumbly cheese (Parmesan?) on the surface. But I wouldn’t pay full price except to balance the salty pasta. I’m sure there’s an immediate comparison with Saizeriya, given the same menu categories, just that it’s halal here. There’s service charge added here, which baffles me because I had to ask for everything. Saizeriya, anytime. Will give this a chance again if they hold out for another 6-9 months.

Food wise : Truffle fries were cold. Both pasta dish tasted just so-so. I think the foccacia needed to be baked abit longer coz i felt like I'm chewing dough. For the tomato soup, I think it's either the cook or the recipe need to be improved. Service-wise : Foccacia was served with 'stained' plate (see picture). Only after I had patiently waited and almost finished my pasta, I reminded the staff for the tomato soup. There was no apologetic reaction. Also there was a chip on the pasta plate. They should have checked before serving. Overall : I should have read the reviews first

Came here for lunch on a weekday, and it was my 1st time dining at Milan Shokudo, which I have heard the food options be similar to Saiz*riya but the Halal version! I'm quite excited to try this place when I know I can bring my Muslim friends here! 💧 Water is complimentary & and self-service. Price range starts from $6-$13 for mains for an aglio olio, which is pretty okay-ish for price. We wanted to order the lunch set deals, but the online product listing kept switching on and off? I'm not sure if it's a bug glitch because we can't order the pasta set either, when the hot plate set was the only one off. Yet when we checked with the staff again, the hot plate was back on, but the pasta was not. A lot of the items were also out of stock during lunch hour as well. We kinda gave up figuring it out and just ordered ala carte pasta. 🍤 Basil Prawn Pasta did not look like the photos, but it was still not bad. It leans towards the cream sauce with basil style with 4 shrimps & 2 salad leaves. Portion size is small, and the handmade pasta had a texture closer to korean ramyun, which was.. interesting. I rate: 3/5 🌟 🦐 Seafood Tom Yum Pasta was pretty okay as well. Sauce has a prominent sour tang of a tom Yum Soup, as ingredients consisted of shrimps, clams, and scallops. Pasta like the above was chewy and wavy like korean ramyun. I rate: 3/5 🌟 I am keen to try more dishes here in the future even though food isn't that amazing or bad. Service wise, I'm a little concerned because for some reason, all the staff here look so mopey... like they are either really tired or dread working here.

The signature tendon was pretty average. The portion was decent and the tempura fish and vegetables were generally ok, but the tempura egg and ebi were pretty lacking. The rice was also dry, with a pitiful amount of spicy sauce given. The tom yum ramen was poorly done. The tom yum soup was a little sour and not really spicy, and generally lacked the distinctive tom yum flavour. The noodles themselves were average. Both service staff we encountered were devoid of any enthusiasm and professionalism.

Ordered steak and was shocked to see the piece completely raw, and had to request the kitchen to grill the steak again. Not recommended even for such price point Was given a butter knife for my steak. Perhaps the establishment management unable to differentiate between steak knife and butter knife Purchased the free flow beverages and the root beer was flat. Quite surprised by the large crowd patronising the restaurant Will NOT come patronise this chain ever again
