I had disappointing experiences with the service here, particularly with the manager, Shilini, on two separate occasions. The first time, I asked about my half-cup latte as I wanted to clarify whether it had been prepared correctly. Her response was simply that it was made by the machine. While I understand the coffee is machine-made, machines can make mistakes too. The response came across as dismissive rather than helpful. The second time, I was holding my food and politely asked for a carrier. Instead of assisting me, I was left waiting while she attended to and guided a new staff member. A simple acknowledgement or asking another staff member to help would have made a big difference. Overall, the younger staff members provided much better service. Unfortunately, one of the elderly staff members also spoke in a tone that was not appropriate for customer service. The overall experience felt slow, unfriendly, and unwelcoming. I hope the management looks into the customer service standards, as the food is decent but the service experience needs significant improvement.

There is this malay lady wearing red uniform today keep shouting here and there at another old lady to mop the floor here and there. Very bossy attitude and keep saying sayang here sayang there make the whole atmosphere very noisy. Some people just want to have peace and quiet while eating. Is she the supervisor? Her attitude seems like she own the whole place.

Shift manager vanitha treating this work place like a wet market, shouting here and there, ordering her workers while shouting. Even the workers and the customers feel pressured and have a tense atmosphere. It isn’t even super crowded at 1020am. The other staff is friendly. Just her giving red flag vibes. Since she likes to shout maybe put her in a wet market 🤔🤔.

Was having breakfast in at McDonald Rivervale Mall at 7.30am. Meant to have a relaxing breakfast but was not. The mall has a renovation work at a retailer space at the upper floor but the CONTINUOUS drilling noise ripple down to McDonald. Does drilling work start early at 7 plus am ? McDonald stafft mentioned this is the retailer mall management and beyond theirs control.

I am extremely disappointed with the repeated poor experience from McDonald’s Rivervale Mall. This is not the first time my drinks and ice cream were packed together with the food in a single bag. When I raised the issue previously, the blame was pushed to the delivery rider. However, your packing and QC team also failed to provide proper separate plastic bags and ensure correct packing procedures before handing over to the rider. This issue has been ongoing for the past 1 to 2 years despite multiple feedback submissions, yet nothing has improved. I would like to ask clearly — does your SOP allow drinks and ice cream to be packed together with hot food? Basic packing standards should already separate cold and hot items properly to maintain food quality. Or is this simply a cost-control measure at the expense of customer experience? As a loyal McDonald’s customer, I am honestly very disappointed. The food I received was cold. I am not expecting piping hot food from delivery, but at least it should arrive warm. My Crisscut Fries became cold and soggy because they were packed together with cold drinks and ice cream. On top of that, the ice cream serving portion was extremely poor compared to other outlets. Other branches usually fill until the standard line, but this outlet consistently gives noticeably lesser portions. Please do not use “delivery melting” as an excuse. If ice cream is available for online delivery, proper portioning and handling should already be managed accordingly. Another recurring issue is the black pepper sachets. I have requested for them multiple times in my orders, yet they are constantly not provided. The rider even informed me that your staff said there was “no stock,” which honestly sounds unacceptable and hard to believe for such a basic condiment item.If items are unavailable, proper communication should be done clearly in advance instead of repeatedly omitting them without notice. Small issues like this may seem minor, but when combined with the poor packing, cold food, and inconsistent quality, it reflects very badly on the outlet’s service standards and operational management. It is frustrating that after so many complaints and promises, the same problems continue happening. I seriously hope management will take this feedback properly, improve SOP enforcement, and ensure proper QC checks are done before orders are handed to riders. Otherwise, I will have no choice but to stop supporting this outlet entirely. To be clear, I am not asking for any refund, compensation, or extra food. I am simply highlighting an ongoing issue that has been repeated many times over the years. Despite giving chance after chance and continuing to support this outlet as a loyal customer, the same problems continue happening with no visible improvement.
