It's was after 2pm that i took my lunch. The food looked appetizing. I got a chicken drumstick, a begedil, cabbage and quail eggs. It was almost $10. I was so shocked. The overall taste was not bad but it was really pricey for nasi padang. Even if the drumstick was $4, why did mini eggs, cabbage and 1 potato patty cost almost $6? I was hungry and didn't want to dispute the price. Just wont eat there again. Not worth the price. Funny thing is the store name, Mahan, is very close to the Malay word for expensive, Mahal. My favorite nasi padang store in Holland Drive market, Shima, gives much bigger portions with better quality and lower prices.

I bought toady morning, 24/11/25 at 06:40 hours, 4 curry puff and 2 found to be with foul taste. upon checking the 2 piece had seriously turn bad and with white fungus inside the curry puff. I had a little discomfort seeing this and hopefully nothing goes wrong with my tummy or getting sick. Can Mahan Nasi Padang look into selling food fresh especially the early morning giving out food not from yesterday's one.

Food - Average. Still open late night after 10pm, so stopped by for a quick bite as was super hungry. Service - There was one kakak doing everything, so be patient la. She was pretty fast and able to attend to customer order properly. Payment - got electronic payment, easy. Location - Near to Clementi MRT. Coffee shop quite stuffy as I was seated inside. Seat externally for comfort due to natural ventilation. Damage - $3.50 for white rice, begedil and Sambal Goreng.

Buy a few times of meehoon soto and mee soto for take away but many times only give bean sprouts noodles and soup no chicken meat at all. And it happens many times. Now today also same problem. Seriously I dunno what the owner is doing. Might as well close the stall this type of thing can forget and is many times dunno is purposely or really forget. And price getting higher every time but service and food getting from bad to worse. I do not recommend anyone to patronise this stall. Buy at your own risk. Highly not recommended. Even their curry puff is overpriced and sometimes already turn sour and sticky the potato inside the puff but they still sell it.

Honestly, for $ 4.50, one bowl of Mee Soto comes with a few pieces of drumstick meat. The soup is bland and lacks flavour, with noodles that seem to have been only briefly boiled in hot water before being added. The rendang beef, costing $5, tastes tough and is served in an overly oily curry. I won't patronise again.
