Food tasty, think the quality and offerings improved significantly after their reopening! Not as sweet, and they have the viral Thai cream cake!!

Honestly, this visit was a huge disappointment. The ambience was decent, but one of the staff kept adjusting the music volume throughout our visit. At one point, it became unnecessarily loud. Unless there's a technical issue, these adjustments should be done after operating hours instead of while customers are dining. Let's start with the drinks. I ordered the Vanilla Matcha. You're using Niko Neko matcha, which is known for its quality, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, the artificial vanilla syrup completely overpowered the matcha. There was no balance whatsoever. It tasted more like vanilla syrup than matcha. It's such a waste of good-quality matcha. Did anyone actually taste-test this before putting it on the menu? I couldn't even finish the drink. The Iced Spanish Latte was decent, although it was stronger than expected. At least it was still drinkable. The tiramisu was average. The mascarpone lacked the rich, creamy egg yolk flavour that makes a good tiramisu. The Crème Brûlée Shokupan was overwhelmingly sweet. It may appeal to those with a very sweet tooth, but it wasn't enjoyable for us. Ironically, the only item worth ordering was the Crème Brûlée Sundae Melts. It was genuinely good, but waiting ONE HOUR for a dessert is simply unacceptable. There is no reason a dessert should take that long to arrive. To top it all off, the service was painfully slow from start to finish. The total bill came up to almost $60, which isn't cheap. For that price, I expected much better quality, consistency, and service. Unfortunately, the overall experience simply didn't justify the amount we paid. Overall, this was an underwhelming experience. Good ingredients alone don't make good food. The execution, quality control, and service all need significant improvement. I left feeling more frustrated than satisfied.

overhyped, only worth to visit for the desserts and aesthetics im not one to give bad feedback/complain much but was rly looking forward to dine at the new outlet as i loved the prev outlet (eg. the waffles, sushi bake, mac&cheese) but was so disappointed w my experience at this new outlet :(( 🥲 had a reservation for 3pax @ 6pm on 9 Jul (thu), arrived about 15-20min early so we came in as i recalled there wasn’t any sign that said "pls wait to be seated" or anything similar. waited in front of counter for a staff to attend to us which a staff did after finished cleaning a table. mentioned we had a 6pm booking for 3pax so im puzzled to receive an email the following day that we didn’t turned up for the booking as shown in the screenshot🤔 not sure if the staff didn’t hear it by mistake so she prob didn’t notify in your system of our booking or what hence the email but it’s just weird after ordering food & drinks, most of it came kinda fast EXCEPT FOR ONE, the BEC Turkey Sandwich which we waited so long close to 30min till we had to ask when it'll be done as we were worried if yall had forgotten the order, was then told "5 more mins" but guess what? 5mins later still not done and *there was no service recovery done*. understand just reopened but if an order is gonna take so long due to whatever reasons such as overwhelming orders then AT LEAST give the customers a heads up or apologize for the long wait instead of leaving us hanging, wondering why’s it taking so long. when the sandwich finally came, there was no utensils given that’s suitable for the sandwich bc those provided for each table in the cup was just fork&spoon so we had to ask for a knife. yes it’s a small thing but cmon have some initiative when the food was already late, coz how am i supposed to eat the sandwich w/o a knife to cut it😐 luckily it arrived warm and tasted kinda nice…still doesn’t excuse the long wait LOL also, for the price point, SOME of the food didn’t really match the quality (the creme brulee sundae melt was nice but v sweet) pls take the initiative to do better and improve your service by retraining your staff so that others won’t have the same experience as it doesn’t help that the service charge was expensive too…just sharing our experience honestly so hope it'll be taken into consideration instead of thinking it’s a hate review

Had the BEC sandwich and the chocolate shokupan, and both were really delicious! The sandwich was cheesey and savoury, and the chocolate shokupan was soft, and sweet. I also love what they did with the new space, it's so bright with such a cozy vibe. Definitely a great spot to hang out. Will be coming back to try more of the menu! 😁❤️

Went to their newly opened outlet. It looked like they have spent a lot on their re-branding so i expected the food to at least be decent. Especially with the price that they are charging. First impression is that Service was poor and staff were rude. If youre going to open a restaurant with that much items on the menu and a bigger size place, please ensure you have enough staffs on standby on a busy weekend night so your staff dont have a black face while serving other people due to tiredness. Staff even ignore us when we raise hands for assistance. Yes, it is obvious that we see you looking and purposely looking away. Summary is that the food they serve doesnt match the price at all. This was their sandwich. Basically some cheap bread, with egg and bacon slapped on it = $18. Ordered their red velvet cream cheese cookie as well. I think they might have use salted butter so the aftertaste along with the size is too much. Should have just stuck with their previous concept.
