Update: I left my email address with the link below given by the owner, but 2 days now nobody has ever contacted me. ——————————- I went there for lunch today. I was quite looking forward to it. I just looked at their lunch special menu (starts from $14.95) and I ordered the peeled prawns in garlic butter sauce with rice. I was charged $29.95 for what I have ordered. By the time I got my lunch, I thought this is an expensive lunch for 5 prawns, a small potato and a bowl of rice. I ate it and it tasted ok but nothing special. However, I went back on their website and found out that the lunch special for peeled prawns is $23.95! This Abdul guy overcharged me $6! Won’t go back next time!

What can I say about Kickin'Inn, Holy Crawfish Batman, get my epipen! First time visitor, will be a many time return'er! Emma was amazing and the food was saucy and considering all of the predispositions I had about food being served in a bag, onto to table, I loved it. Get the Craw!

I was so excited to be trying Kickin'Inn for the 1st time and my Son was visiting from SA and wanted to take me there for an early Mother's Day pressie. Sorry to say that we were very disappointed in our experience. At the start the service was excellent by the only staff member that we had seen the whole time we were there, she interacted really well with the kids but unfortunately the service went downhill from there! We had ordered a garlic bread for entrée and 2 kids meals and a mixed bag of Seafood. After waiting about half an hr, the kids meals arrived... I had said to my family "have they forgotten our garlic bread" and at the same time, the girl walked past us and yelled out "garlic bread is coming"... We waited another 25mins and then our main meals came out. I'd like to note that there was only 1 other table of 2ppl in the restaurant!! The flavour was delicious but we really struggled to eat the crab and found the meat very crumbly and dry (overcooked). We had to use our teeth to crack the shell of them! We ended up asking the girl if she had forgotten the garlic bread and she seemed sincere and apologized for forgetting and brought it out 5mins later. We didn't see the staff member again, until she approached our table and said that the restaurant was closing at 9pm, so by the time our food came out, we were hurrying to finish on time. We asked for a Takeaway container in the end, as we had to leave and packed all the leftover crabs up. When paying at the till, she asked how everything was in which I replied that it was ok but we had a lot of trouble eating the crabs and asked if we are supposed to get tools to crack the crabs open with. She apologized again and said she was on her 5th double shift and totally forgot! Not good enough in our eyes, very disappointed and I felt sorry for my son having to pay that big amount of $$, only for us to have a bad experience at this restaurant. I'd understand a bit more if the place was packed but on this occasion it wasn't and inexcusable for the service we received.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Ordered the mud crab and unfortunately it came out raw — like actually raw. I’m all for fresh seafood, but I didn’t expect it to still be auditioning for Finding Nemo. We also ordered 6 potatoes and received… 1. Not a serving of 6. Not 6 cut in half. Just one brave little carb fighting a solo battle. The prawns, meanwhile, chose chaos and went completely the other way — so overcooked they could’ve doubled as seafood-flavoured jaw workouts. On the positive side, the staff lady was genuinely lovely and very friendly. Maybe a little too invested in conversation while the kitchen was sending out crab carpaccio and The Lone Potato™, but her energy was sweet. To really seal the experience, as we were leaving, a random person casually sat at our table and started eating our leftovers like it was an all-you-can-eat sequel. Absolutely unhinged behaviour — but credit where it’s due, staff handled it quickly and professionally and shut it down straight away. Overall, disappointing food-wise — I came for a seafood feast and left with trust issues and one potato. 🦀🥔

This was a delicious seafood boil at very reasonable prices actually - sauce was yummy we got the Kickinn Shabang Sauce with the mixed bag - i’m surprisingly filling for four people. We didn’t think it would be enough to fill out that we also got the egg fried rice though. I felt like it was a bit too much soy sauce there. What we didn’t like about the entire atmosphere was it was a really hot day and there was no air conditioner on. So we ordered jugs of cold water and it just took so long to get to the table. I think they were quite shortstaffed because it was a fairly busy afternoon and it just took so long to get service. Food also took a while to get onto the tables and maybe they just were understaffed in general so that was a bit of a negative experience But if it was purely based on food alone, I’d definitely come again We made a reservation as well, but when we came, there were so many empty tables. You definitely could’ve walked in. I think it does help the staff if you have booked ahead of advance as they’ve got the table ready for you
