The last time we came here was 3 years ago in Jan 2019 and they still have great selection of local Singapore kueh made into cake and western flavors too. My favorite is the ondeh ondeh and putu piring. My wife favorite is the durian of course.

One of my favourite cake shop... Chempadek cake is not to be missed but it's only available in season. My other favourites are Durian and Ondeh Ondeh!

Very pretty cakes. Very responsive seller and prompt actions too. Payment is easy and swift. Delivery is on time and prompt. I ask if they can write something and they also written it. As I gave it to elderly, the word was so big!! Perfect for the receiver. I didn't get to taste the cake but the receiver love it. Great service and Bakes! Thank you!

Walked past this little shop multiple times and finally decided to give their cakes a try :) We tried two flavors and absolutely loved it! They were very sweet though so it’s best to share. It’s huge and not too much cream which was great. Sponge were soft and fluffy too. Enjoyed the cakes and will be back to try other flavors! :)

My only bakery i go to if i need a cake fix. Can never get enough of their cakes! Its pricey per slice but oh so yummy!! Quality is defo there. Small bakery, have to q outside else it will be too cramp inside. Best is to see the banner menu outside and make your choice. Once step inside, order, pay and go. So others can come in to get their cakes too. Dont mingle senselessly and hold the Q. Lets be considerate buyers!

1 word. This is awesome. Had the ondeh ondeh pandan cake. Taste really fresh and newly bakes. Pandan favour was amazing and the gula melaka with crunchy bits within was tasty. I convinced myself this is healthy - pandan and coconut flakes is vegetable and fruits. Doctor say vegetable and fruits are good. Gula melaka is cane sugar. Unprocessed and organic so healthy. So this is healthy cake😝

Very welcoming hospitality by the owner, Sis Julie and her staff. Very friendly, caring, jovial, polite, knowledgeable and service with a smile even thought we are wearing our mask but from the eyes shows everythings. Spoilt for choice. Beside varieties of cakes, they also sell some kuehs like Epok² sardine, potato, scramble egg, pulut serunding ( glutinous rice with spicy coconut), ondeh², pulut serawa durian ( glutinous rice with durian paste) taste like durian ice cream when you eat it cold and its not so sweet, etc. So do drop by her shop and do give her your support. I am sure will drop by again her shop soon. You can follow her Instagram @juliebakes for more information. Keep smiling guys!!!

Take out only. We bought peppermint dark chocolate cake. The peppermint balances the dark chocolate very nicely. It melted in your mouth. Not too sweet. It would be good if we can dine in eating cake with a cup of tea

Trying her bakes for the first time and bought the Ondeh Ondeh cake. The cake was delicious, and I recommend you to microwave it for a few seconds before eating it! Will definitely buy her cakes again if I happen to be in Arab Street area.

Stopped in while visiting Sultan Mosque neighborhood. Had a piece of strawberry pistachio cake - one of the best pieces of cake I’ve tasted! Hands down worth a visit to the area just for the cake.

Waseh this place is a hidden gem sia.. When i saw their cakes i had a hard time deciding which one to order. End up i gave in to the triple chocolate fuiyoh. Only problem here is takeouts only. I had no choice but to take 5 mins to gobble up the entire slice at their staff table outside the shop. The triple chocolate ($9.20)doesn’t feel like triple the sin. It’s not overly sweet and the cake is relatively dense. Inside still have thick slabs of white chocolate wooootz. Really lurve the texture and the taste! The cakes are not cheap but i’m sure many peeps are willing to pay for quality. I think next time i will have to bring my own paper plate here liao. Def worth a visit in this kampong glam area!
