Kitty our children and I visited Jian Fa BBQ Seafood at Our Tampines Hub for a family meal. Since there were a few of us I decided to order the curry fish head and also the fried lala. The total price was reasonable. The waiting time was twenty minutes. This place is halal. Initially my children did not want to try this stall however I managed to convince them. The taste of the fish head curry was not really what we preferred. The fish and the sauce were not hot enough. It was just slightly above lukewarm. It would be nice if the cook could cook a bit longer or with a bigger fire. The lala sauce was also not as nice as we thought. The same issue applied. The food was not hot enough and was just slightly lukewarm. This may be the reason why the food was not as nice as we expected. It may also be the way the sauce is cooked. We hope the quality can be improved on our next visit.

First time ordering. Tried Fish Hor Fun $5 which had a CHEF Thumbs up sign! So Bland. The white hor fun looks and taste like it was hardly fried. And the soup was served to.the brim overflow, so i had to scoop it out to another bowl (see a full small bowl of starchy bland sauce). Fish slices are decent, but wasnt the usual fillets, sorta chunkier side. Very different overall from the typical fried hor fun/ sam lou hor fun or XO hor fun at all which would normally have wok hey. This had ZERO wok hey. I took extra chilies after seeing the boring white noodle. Fits for someone who is not well, as it was simple and almost like eating porridge. Won't be back! I was hungry so I ate what i could, plus all the chilli.

Managed by kopitiam but don’t accept eVoucher. Lol says only can take cdc voucher. Ok next, don’t need my business I won’t buy from you too. Good luck with this bad attitude, won’t last long. Plenty of other stalls with better service and food.
