It has very fresh seafood and a great variety of food and is well flavored. Lobsters are also served in many different ways n definitely worth the try. Oysters are too creamy for my liking. Desserts are on the sweeter side. Comes with flavoring drinks, and I loved the coffee. Service is excellent and staff are very attentive. Will come back again for more lobsters! They also provide special birthday cake upon request.

Nice lobster buffet with variety. The beef surprisingly good. Melt in your mouth and super tender. Take note this lobster buffet only every wed. Drivers do take complimentary parking . But only if spent above 200

This is a halal place, with a buffet price of $98++ (Saturday). Understand Shangri-La card has 20% off for up to 6 paxs, and complimentary parking is provided for diners. Online reservation can only be made for 5 paxs, and I had to contact the restaurant to increase the number of paxs. Overall, food is decently fresh and the selection is decently good. For seafood, there are oysters, lobsters (cold or hot chilli sauce), cold prawns and grilled prawns station, salmon fish and crabs. Crabs is soaked with sauce which diluted the taste. Cold drinks is too sweet but we added plain water to dilute the sweetness . There is selection of coffee & tea too. Desserts is ok, except durian purée is too sweet and taste “artificial”. Overall, considering every aspect, this is recommended for seafood lovers.

My mum wanted to try out this dinner buffet so badly, and it’s her love language to spend quality time with her husband, children, sons-in-law, & granddaughter here eating & chatting for hours! The restaurant is really spacious, clean & the service staff are all attentive. The restaurant manager was very kind to inform us that their oysters are from France & they did not disappoint, however, it’ll be great if the oysters are shucked upon request, so that the meat remains plump. We enjoyed the durian pengat so much, so thiccc & rich! Overall, the buffet spread suits our taste—the seafood served was really enjoyable, the customers were civilised 🤭 there was nothing unpleasant about my dining experience at all. We had a lovely evening. Thank you, J65 & Hotel Jen Tanglin Staff! ♥️ please maintain this high level of professionalism & standards always. Well done!

We booked on their website for a Friday seafood buffet! There are not so many choices but I think the covered every section and the flavor was really good 👍🏿 The 🦞 is cooked several ways: iced, Boiled lobster with mushroom，butter Gallic roasted, and the famous chilli lobster, the chill one is quite Singapore style and really flavorful! Other seafood such as whole baked salmon, prawns, mussels are good too, but the mussels in iced section are too small. The oyster 🦪 is not one the section but you can order from the waitress. Not recommended, very small. The other part such as vegetable 🥗 fruit 🍉 are just so so, there few drinks to choose and most of them taste funny. The dessert section is ok, love the banlan cake and durian pagnet. Overall I had a good experience!

Awesome dining experience, customer service is very friendly. Even told me to be a Shangri-La member for free to get 20% discount! Will definitely come back again. Foods are also well prepared, fresh and delicious. Frequent top-ups, never had an empty dish of dissapointment for this buffet. Thumbs up! The Durian Pengat is super delicious, cant forget about it tbh. Unfortunately the Oysters arent on display, but was served by a waiter when requested.

Seafood spread is impressive, fresh and tasty. Service was excellent, the staffs were attentive, professional and proactive. Thank you for making it a great experience having a birthday dinner at J65 - complete with bday balloons (such a thoughtful addition!) and complementary bday cake.

The breakfast experiences in J65 were amazing, specially for me, unfortunately doing an intermittent fasting but I can see that all food are freshly made. The bakery & Asian food looks tempting. I just took fruits and Reza, the restaurant Manager and also Ben, server helped me out with my needs which are coffee & fruits. Fruits are fresh cuts with lots of varieties. All staffs are friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for the experience J65 & team. Hopefully will come back and eat all your breakfast dishes. Cheers

It was a delightful experience :) From the food, the venue, the service, all fantastic. Food is delish and well prepared. Venue is very cozy and not crowded. What surprised me most is that costs cheaper and its even a 1for1 buffet lunch. Will visit and dine again for sure. Want to try their evening buffet service.

Went there for my anniversary on 11 October 2023z It was an extremely nice experience. Staff on the ground especially Ben and Doris(part time) were very courteous and helpful, not forgetting to promote the Shangri-La circle app. We left the place feeling more than satisfied.

A value for money buffet lunch especially when you get it with 1 for 1 through credit card promotion. I love the carrot cake and the shrimps tempura the most. The rest I would say slightly above average.

Reasonable spread for high tea. Fair range of desserts and a good laksa which could have been great if there were more ingredients like fish cake and taupo. The servers were courteous and provided very good service. Terrific value for money

Spread of food is quite limited, with lots of carbohydrates for customers who enjoy staples. Drinks are a little too sweet and coffee isn't fragrant. The place is clean and comfortable. For this price, I would not mind going again for gatherings when comfort is priority.

Food was good for a Seafood lovers, seafood mania buffet. The choice of crabs are just a couple but crab menus, you will try till U lost Ur sense. Salmon menu, still within the a table serving. Service was excellent. To little to offer for a buffet concept. Well what to do, small place but exciting venue. Recommended.

Lobster dinner buffet at J65 for two today. Convenient location beside Tanglin Mall. Delicious lobsters on a Wednesday with wide variety of sauces. Enjoyed the lobster Thermidor as our favourite! Family-friendly. Love that this is halal as well. Cant wait to come back soon.

We went there using 50% off voucher. A lot of seafood varieties to choose, love the lobster with chili sauce and king crab leg. They also have mini shushi station. Worth the money if you using a voucher.

Varieties are way below expectation compared to other buffets of a similar price range. Hot plate and cold lobster is bland, need sauce else tasteless. Cold snow crab is good though with natural sweetness and the salted egg chicken too. The rest is just bland, seafood chowder is just awfully tasteless. I usually like beef stew or any similar however the beef here is just meh, don't even feel like putting 2nd piece in my mouth. No more durian pengat at 8:25 PM and asked the staff for any more refills, sorry. What a joke! My first visit not see myself coming back in the future. Not sure if the one guy a manager or supervisor, occasional standing different location and having a death stare on the customer, damn felt like we all own him money. Totally ruin the feeling of enjoying the meal.

We tried only the breakfast buffet, food is ok but fairly limited, there aren't too many alternatives. If you're staying for at least 3 nights you'll get bored fast regarding the options. Great selection of juices / drinks. Staff is OK and welcoming, fast clearing of used plates.

Dam long since my last buffet n here having a great 1for1 offer. Not too bad and i had my fill. Its also Halal as well so its great if i'm meeting my muslim friends next time. Servers pops by to check, clear plates frequently so service to me is top notch. Will be back to try their dinner menu next time.

The carpark rate is reasonable. But there was not a wide variety of foods. My kids loved the laksa and seafood fried rice! We booked it under the seafood mania for Saturday's dinner. The salmon fish was not nice, hard, dry and with a fishy smell. They had chilli sauce lobsters, the sauce was very nice but the lobsters were not so fresh as compared to the cold snow crab, lobsters and prawns. They also had a porridge station, porridge was tasty. Dessert - Mango Pomelo Sago and the Longan Red Date Soup was delicious. They had some cakes and sushi as well. Overall, I felt its not really worth the price if you are paying full. Its only worth the money if you use a voucher with discount.
