Honestly the best find in Hong Kong for Muslims, excellent quality and taste plus not for expensive. Whatever you ordered is worth every penny. Hands down the best local food i had in HK.

Excellent dumplings at a very good price. The mutton Rice is very very good as well. Keep in mind they do not take bank cards. Octopus, cash, we chat and alipay.

A fully halal place to eat when in Hong Kong. Food is authentic and comes out pretty quickly. Although the ladies did not speak English they were still able to explain how we needed to order using the slip. Good size portions and everything is made fresh, at busy times you may need to share a table with others, for us this wasn't an issue. You can see that Muslim tourists and locals visit this canteen. During our 4 day stay in HK we visited a couple of different times as it was within walking distance from our hotel.

Had a wonderful experience at Islamic Centre Canteen. The food was authentic, flavorful, and fully halal, which made it even more special for me. It’s not easy to find a place that combines traditional Hong Kong cuisine with halal standards so well. The restaurant was clean, well organized, and the staff were very friendly even during busy hours. You can really feel the local atmosphere while dining here. Definitely one of the best halal dining experiences in Hong Kong — highly recommended for both locals and travelers!

Great halal food that’s tucked on the 5th floor of Masjid Ammar/Islamic Center! The Eggyolk Custard Buns and Panfried Chicken Buns are a must-try! I also saw a lot of people ordering chicken feet, which I didn’t get to try. Dimsum servings are actually pretty big, so do take note if you have a smaller appetite! And yes do take note that the dimsum menu is only until 3pm (refer to pictures of menu attached)! The best part is that you won’t worry about missing prayers while dining here! Worth a visit while you’re in HK island!
