We had ordered kuih jongkong for iftar yesterday to be collected today. There was a msg at 3+ pm to say that it can be collected. My partner came to collect at 6pm and the staff nonchalantly said, "Oh we had a customer of the same name and gave the jongkong away. Sorry." No sincere apologies, no service recovery and zero effort to make up for their mistake, other than to offer half heartedly "Do you want bubur?" Suffice to say that just because your jongkong is nice, doesn't mean you can inconvenience people this way, especially when customers are fasting and made the effort to come and collect. Next time, try to ensure that you commit to your orders.

Hassan Rabbit Dum Briyani delivers a truly old-school briyani experience that will appeal to purists. The rice is aromatic, well-layered, and cooked in a traditional dum style that brings out deep, comforting flavours without being overpowering. It’s the kind of briyani that feels nostalgic and honest. The mutton briyani is the highlight here—but do note it’s limited daily. The mutton is tender and well-spiced, making it worth the effort, but you’ll need to order early to avoid disappointment. Once it’s sold out, that’s it for the day. The dalca is simple and homely. At times, it contains only potatoes, which may feel a little basic, but it still complements the briyani reasonably well rather than stealing the spotlight. Overall, this is a no-frills spot focused on doing briyani the traditional way. Minor inconsistencies aside, the flavour and authenticity make it a solid 4.5-star choice for briyani lovers who appreciate classic tastes over modern twists.

Ive had better biryani than this. However still above average and decent flavor. Dalca and the acar was the star during my meal.

Very nice briyani. We tried the mutton briyani today. Commendable effort ! Nice soft and tender mutton. The real winners were the Dalca and the pineapple acar 👍🏼
