The Sambal Salted Fish Fried Rice as amazing! The spiciness as well as the subtle taste of the salted fish was perfectly done! My usual preference for Rice with Spring Onion Ginger Beef was well done too with more sauce to it! And finally the Salted Egg Chicken made the best try of the week for my wife & I! Crispy on the outside but tender when it’s in your mouth! The parking may be a little of a hassle but you can park at the back of the establishment where there’s many industrial building. I’m definitely coming here again for sure!

The salted egg chicken with rice was absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior. The salted egg sauce was rich and savory, and paired perfectly with the rice. Overall, it was a satisfying and tasty meal that I would highly recommend to anyone. Great job!

The salted egg chicken is still entering my dreams and asking me to return. It was heavenly. The sauce especially was delicious and for the price they didn’t skip out on ingredients. I will return.

Came in a Tuesday afternoon, around 12pm. The place was already packed!!! Came all the way to try their salted egg chicken with rice ($6.50)! Ordered a chicken cube fried kuay teow ($6) and a hua dan hor fun ($6). Was very pleased with the noodle dishes but quite disappointed in the salted egg chicken rice. Maybe because it’s a take away, by the time I ate it, it was hard and there was very little sauce… the chicken was too fried… and the pieces were quite small. So lots of batter. Would be back but to try other dishes as their menu is extensive!!

Ordered a plate of stir-fried seafood hor fun (pictured) and was not disappointed; noodles were flavourful and teeming with the much sought-after wok hei, the ingredients were fresh, and the portion was generous. All in all, the food on offer was definitely value for money (less than S$10 for a plate of noodles and a drink). Kudos to the middle-aged lady behind the cahsier counter for her friendly nature and attentiveness, despite having to manage the hectic lunch crowd. On a related note; be prepared to wait a little longer during peak periods (for both seats as well as food) as the place gets very busy with hungry diners from nearby offices.

Tried their salted egg chicken rice and tasted average. The shining component in this dish was their salted egg sauce - was savoury and tasty, would have enjoyed it more if they gave a larger portion of sauce (unsure if they have an option to top up this), chicken tasted like how it looks, abit soggy from the sauce and a few pieces were hard and probably over cooked. Egg was fried with a nice crisp, rice was however hard and wasn’t that pleasant. Portion was on the smaller side.

Ordered Black pepper beef rice and beef hor fun. Beef w slices were little and thin, egg was hard not sure when it was fried, rice was also quite hard. Hor fun noodles was very hard too. Beef slices again very little. Not really sure if I came wrong timing or what but food was way below average. I came around 5pm. Chicken rice finish already.

No frills. Food is good & reasonable prices. Come during off peak hours & you should be able to get seats. However, proper parking lots are quite a distance away. So, I normally park at Kapo Factory and walk a bit so that I can eat in peace after that.

Extremely basic set up but lovely cooking! The choices of food is numerous and still reasonably priced. Importantly the zi char options were delectable and freshly prepared. Taste is great and worth a try!

tasty, no-frills dining zichar experience with good variety. the food was served quickly during weekday lunch hour and the portion was just right. ordered the 奶油鸡饭 and i liked that there was a lot of sauce! will try other offerings next time.

A solid 7/10 no higher no less. Sauce was cooked to perfection with the right ratio of water and cream. The first bite of the sauce with rice was heavenly and exquisite. However, the egg was overdone despite the remarks written for the egg to not be over cooked. Some chicken bites were tough and no consistency to the texture of the chicken. Portion is a lot really small and will not be able to fill you with just 1 plate. Well for $6.50 you get what you pay. There was a cockroach that came out from the kitchen

They are halal certified restorant that has various kind of food. Went there to try their salted egg chicken rice (because sadly most of famous salted egg chicken rice in Spore is not halal). The portion of rice is big, the portion of chicken is enough and the taste is good. The price is affordable as well with their other menu Didn't try any other menu but would love to try when I have another chance. The location is kinda far away but it's near bus stop and MRT station so it's easy to go there. Bring some cash cause they only accept cash and no card

I heard good reviews about their salted egg chicken rice. I ordered a plate to try, which cost me SGD 6.50. Egg was overcooked, and chicken was tough. Very disappointed 😞

+ halal certified + the salted egg is must try! + Really like their Kopi tarik! Not to sweet and still you can feel the bitter taste of coffee + big portion! + their sambal has unique taste like gingerish and not too spicy. + quick serving, a lot!!! I get all my orders less than 10 minutes.

The salted egg rice at GLC is absolutely top-notch. Whenever I've had a rough day and visited GLC, it's like receiving a warm hug. Indulging in it brings a sense of comfort like no other.
