Hidden gem in the heartlands. Had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon. The egg yolk just oozes out as it should. Mushroom truffle soup was smooth, not thick n starchy and taste was excellent. Good coffee too n they give free-flow water unlike many other eateries. Gladly recommended the places to friends n family immediately.

Crab croissant roll has a strong mix of flavour buttery croissant with truffle fries and we shouldn’t have add the raclette cheese over powering everything. Cheese burger ordinary nothing to wow about. Beef tenderloin with raclette cheese … ordered medium rare came medium. The meat was tender but a few slices was difficult to cut and chewy with the vein in it. The potatoes was super salty. Over all for that quality of meat it was a bit over price.

Nice place, nice food. The photos speaks. Staff were friendly and ambience is just nice. The la la portion was a lot and i’m loving it. Overall, the portions were above my expectations. Will be back again for sure.

Staffs were cordial, food were relatively fast. Found the food a tad heavy handed on the salt. I can only blame myself for eating at home most of the time and stingy with the salts. Love the side vegetable, done well.

was really looking forward to the raclette cheese but they did not top the chicken cutlet with the cheese in front of us (is it cause of covid?) It was alr solidified and cold when served. chicken chop was pretty good but the cheese was v salty. The truffle mushroom soup was pretty good though. Bangers and mash had standard hotdogs with dry clumpy and sticky mash which needs to be improved.

We came here at 2pm on a Sunday, not crowded but the service was damn slow and bad. We ordered at 2:11pm, 1 steak with 5 dollars top up for the cheese and 1 salmon. Half an hour later at 2:41pm, the food were still not here so we went to ask the staff, they said 6 more minutes. Waited for about another 8 minutes still no food so went to ask again and they replied rudely "now, now, now!" Ended up our food were still not here. Finally my salmon arrived, only the fish was hot, the sides were all cold, terrible! Steak arrived around 2:52pm and we had to wait another 5 minutes for the cheese that we paid $5 for. Of course the steak turned cold! Ordered medium rare, what came was medium well to well done. Come on... you all can do better, waited more than 50 minutes for trash food. My hubby ate 1 mouthful and asked for refund. Within 1 minute, the female cook came to clear the food angrily making quick and noisy moves. Wow, serve so slow clear so fast, worst service I've experienced.

Attacked by their video on raclett cheese. Did not dissapoint, the steak and cheese was very nicely done, taste of beef and cheese really compliment each other. Crab roll was delicious with the melted butter. Seats are limited and by 7pm place is full, they stopped queuing as they were booked out for the night. Highly recommend securing a reservation before heading down. Aircon was very underpowered, edging towards stuffy in a full crowd. Kitchen also can't keep up with orders during peak hour, waited over 30min for food. It's a hidden gem in Hougang, cooling and staffing if improved will greatly increase atmosphere.

Went there during peak period. So there were alot of people. Highly recommend to make reservations. The food served is amazing!. Do come here for some fabulous cheezy goodness and the salted egg croissant. The steak here is very tender and well salted too.

The steaks with was too salty, Raclette cheese was ok. Lobster and Crab roll was very bad and overpriced; the sauce was bad, lobster tail portion was very small and crab mayo tasteless. Look at the picture, ridiculously small portion for the price. Better go to burger and lobster or any other places. My fav was pince and pints but they closed. Don’t waste your money here. The carbonara and aglio olio were both too salty as well. Overall, the food were not only very bad but overpriced at a place with too many tables packed into a small place. Will never return. Only thing is the staff were friendly.

The food is good. I came here for the cheese chicken cutlet but realised that the amount as seen in the videos on tiktok and reality is very much different. It won’t be as much as what you see online. When asked for a bit more I was told to pay additional $5.50 which is a steep price for some cheese (I think?) However, the food wise it tastes great! :) I really enjoyed the thickness of the cheese and also the chicken is cooked well. Unfortunately as with most cafes, the amount of skin to chicken ration is a bit high but overall a good experience. Would come back here to try the other items on the menu! Stay tuned :)

Made a reservation but was late but staff were super friendly and understanding. Ordered Egg Benedict and Salted Egg Chicken Burger, upgraded to the set with Cappuccino and Mushroom Soup. Food came super fast, like within 5-10 minutes of ordering! The cappuccino and mushroom soup were great, loved the latte art 🥰 Also the eggs Benedict was on point, compared to other eggs Benedict dishes I’ve had at other cafes. Servings were generous and left feeling very satisfied.

Had the nasty burger with mentaiko fries (burger taste nasty, not sure if it's meant to taste that or not. Still finished it though) and steak. Add-on the cheese. The cheese solidifies fast. It's a cozy space around the neighbourhood. Not sure if I'll visit it again.

Reasonable prices, good service and atmosphere, waiting times can be a bit long. Coffee was fragrant and not acidic. Unfortunately I found the raclette to be too pungent, even more so than blue cheese. Otherwise this is a nice small Cafe to hang out at.

Very patient staff and you can tell they’re trying their best to cater to every needs. There was a customer complaining of bad smells and I saw them shuffling around just to please that guy despite a rather busy weekend. (To begin with, I wonder why that guy chose a table near the toilet) Anyway, the food is unique here. Expect your Benedict’s with salted egg sauce, chicken with Milo and ice cream served in tempura style. Ambience is a little warm for me despite Aircon running at full blast.

Had dinner here. Found this place by accident. The food was delicious. Certain portion was a tad salty but not a deal breaker. Definitely need to make a reservation the next time I'm coming here.

The potatoes were stale or rather not cooked properly. They were practically inedible and we decided not to eat them. Other than that, the other food were okay. I recommend to try the truffle fries. It's the best! The service and ambience was good too. Maybe that's because it wasn't busy when we dined there.

I have come to Flavour Flings a few times and this time I come for the Xmas menu with my friend. The Dry Laksa with Prawn is very rich in the taste and the spiciness is very shiok. Also the Signature Beef Steak is very nice and tender. Would definitely come back again.

Generally very very expensive for a HDB cafe. Spent about $40-$50 per pax. Food is average but the melted cheese show is worth paying $5 just for the video. I don’t recommend topping up for soup and drink. Otherwise, I’m probably not coming back.

Little pricey, but food is good. Mushroom soup is above average, and burger patties are tender. Could be a bit more consistent, as mine was moist but my kids’ was a bit drier. Milo nuggets are interesting, but a bit too many flavours going on at the same time for me. Being able to use CDC vouchers is a plus.

Boy, you're in for a big treat. The food is value for money. Haven't start to the taste test yet .. it was a 10/10 for me. We had the likes of Machamp breakfast, Milo chicken popcorn and the dry laksa pasta. Have to say... If u are hungry, And want something to say "dang that was a great meal of all time!" Then here is the place. They have alot of other nice dishes .. we only had to bellies to fill... So we definitely need another trip to try other things in the menu... But really spot on man, the taste, the portion, the price... All on point. Hidden gem, discovered... Not just by us, but food bloggers alike... See you next time!

This off the radar halal food place have been around for the longest time. Decided to have iftar here with the family. Ladies behind the counter were nice, friendly and helpful. Food came at the right moment just before time which is good as the food stays warm a little longer. Beef steak with raclette was delicious. Just the beef alone was cooked perfectly and so juicy as well. Pasta dishes were good especially the dry laksa. Burgers were alight though the brunch burger deserves a mention. Oh and their fries is so addictive even though it’s just plain. Stays crispy for long too. The Nutella cookie pie is super yums. We asked it to be warmed up as the staff said it’s usually served cold. Warmed up is so decadent just like a warm cookie

Came after work because it was close by. Like the name of the store suggests, the food was flinging flavours at me. When you cut open the salted egg croissant, it feels like the croissant is pouring out its feelings for you. With every bite, you can dip it into the salted egg juice that has oozed out from its heart. The salmon fillet itself was not amazing on its own. However, with the symphony of the mushrooms, mashed potato and poached eggs, it was music to my mouth. If you want to leave with a full stomach, the beef tomyum pasta came with a generous portion of sliced beef and an unexpectedly nice combination of different cuisines. The Thai tea latte is not what it seems, it tastes like the syrup on your McDonald's pancake. If you have a sweet tooth like me, you will enjoy it very much. Lastly, the dessert we had was quite literally a cookie in cake form. The nutella cookie pie really encapsulated the essence of a cookie. Definitely will visit again to try other dishes.
