Banger place!! Wagyu salami and hot honey focaccia are absolutely delicious. Would definitely go back again and perfectly located for a work lunch takeout. Service is pretty fast and pleasant. Chill dudes behind the counter!

Location was easy to find. Food was oily and service was meh. I showed them MelbourneFood tiktok for a free Ube, and this is what I got, attached photos. Shocked to say the least, milk tasted foul, purple food colouring wasn't enough, big difference from tiktok and what I recieved. Standards should be for everyone, not just influencers.

Found this place while trying to go to a deli spot, but honestly everything in Melbourne closes ridiculously early. Thankfully this place shut at 4pm, which is actually considered late compared to a lot of places nearby that seem to close around 2–3pm. The setup is more of a stall/takeaway vibe rather than a proper sit-down place. One thing that did annoy me a little was that I had to actively ask to order after standing there for a few minutes waiting to be acknowledged. It wasn’t the biggest issue ever, but it did feel a bit odd. Food-wise, it was nice overall, though I do think it’s fairly expensive for what and where it is. The portion sizes could definitely be better, especially with the meat. I got the wagyu salami & the flavours were good, but I don’t think the ratios were quite balanced. It really could’ve done with more cheese and more meat. The bacon jam was lovely at first, but there was just too much of it, and because it’s quite sweet, it started overpowering everything else rather than tying the sandwich together cohesively. I also waited quite a long time, almost 15 minutes. What made it a bit awkward was that the people next to me, who had arrived only a few minutes earlier, got apologised to for the wait and were given complimentary drinks. One of the staff members also apologised to me for the delay, so clearly they knew I’d been waiting too, but I didn’t get offered the same thing despite waiting a very similar amount of time. Not the end of the world, but it did feel a little strange and slightly annoying when you’re standing right there watching it happen. Another thing worth noting is the lack of seating nearby. It would’ve been really nice if there were at least a small bench outside because the area is basically just street space with nowhere comfortable to sit. You kind of have to walk about 10 minutes towards the river to find somewhere decent, which isn’t ideal when you want to eat the food while it’s still hot and fresh. One positive though: thankfully there were no extra service charges or card surcharges, which honestly felt refreshing because that’s become ridiculously common across Australia lately.

recently tried Deli-cious Deli, and it’s a fantastic spot for anyone looking for a high-quality Halal deli. Please note that this is a take-away only spot, so it's perfect for a quick grab-and-go meal! Here is what I tried: The Strap: This one is a beast! It uses thick, hearty bread stuffed with lamb, French fries, onions, rocket, and cheese. The lamb was prepared perfectly—very clean with no gamey smell at all. Because of the fries inside, it is incredibly filling and satisfying. Truffle Mushroom: A great choice if you want something a bit lighter but still indulgent. It uses a thinner, classic sandwich bread that is just the right size for one person. It’s packed with a generous amount of mozzarella cheese, and the truffle aroma is lovely—present but not overpowering.

Good sandwiches but I was overcharged by 10$ based on the menu pricing if 41.75$. Don’t think even a weekend surcharge calls for that big of a difference. Will stick to Sloppy Jo’s and What the Foc as they offer similar sandwiches for cheaper price.
