Food taste is good and authentic. I'm just a bit puzzled as the prices are a bit on the expensive side. The staff most often guess the price and have noticed i paid way too much for ehat i had before. Good food but be mindful what you order as it can really be a shock how much it is.

UPDATE: Went there today and tried to pay with my CDC voucher. The guy said he didn't have his phone with him. And I told him he could keep the hard copy of my voucher with the QR code. He grimaced and then brought out his phone. What was with the lying??? This is very terrible attitude and it was 2+pm, not even busy. Went a couple of weeks and ordered the same thing. It was $5.50. Today was $5.30. This is not ok. Anyone experiencing the same? Actually still one of the more affordable nasi Padang

A constant lunch crowd and you can find an array of dishes in this Nasi padang stall. The ingredients are fresh but of small portions. A typical 2 veg and 1 meat will cost about $7.

Chanced upon this hole in the wall while running some errands. No queue yet since it was around 11am. Surprised that the food is pretty good. As with most nasi padang stalls, prices are slightly higher, but this stall was still quite affordable. Took away just 3 dishes, no rice. To me, what makes or break a nasi pandang stall is their beef rendang and sayur lodeh. And oh boy their beef rendang ($4/serving) did not disappoint - beef is super tender, flavourful and cooked the traditional minangkabau way. Sayur lodeh ($3/serving) was also very soft, delicious and tauhu was not sour. Gravy was also super fragrant. Last dish was a serving of ikan billis and peanuts ($3/serving) coated with a sweet sauce with a tinge of spiciness. Pretty normal, but tasty dish which adds some crunch and texture to your meal. The makcik was very friendly too. I definitely will be back for more.

I would say overall the food is phenomenal especially the beef liver is crunchy and the squid is very soft and tender.
