Absolutely amazing BBQ! The brisket was juicy and tender, and the ribs were smoky and cooked to perfection. The BBQ sauce was incredible, but the real star was the Gold Hot Sauce—it’s honestly one of the best sauces I’ve ever had. It paired perfectly with every bite. Definitely coming back!

One of the best places to enjoy halal BBQ! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish is packed with amazing smoky BBQ taste, and the portions are generous. The customer service is excellent—the staff are friendly, welcoming, and always make you feel valued. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is great, and the overall dining experience is fantastic. If you're looking for delicious BBQ and outstanding service, Chainsmoker Urban Halal BBQ is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing meal at Chainsmoker Urban BBQ! We tried the Cowboy Sandwich, Beef Ribs, and Jerk Chicken, and every dish was packed with flavor. The beef ribs were tender and perfectly smoked, the Cowboy Sandwich was hearty and delicious, and the jerk chicken had just the right balance of spice and smokiness. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and the portions were generous. Great service and a welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. Definitely one of the best BBQ spots around we’ll be coming back for more!

This is the best halal BBQ smokehouse I've tried in GTA. I was not overtly excited when coming here as my experience with their Ajax location was decent but unremarkable. This place however exceeded my expectations as everything in the menu that we tried was excellent. That never happens in a restaurant when I try and like everything. This place changed that. If you're a group, depending on your size and hunger levels platters will give the most bang for your buck. The brisket was juicy, the ribs were smoky and fatty and the wings were fried perfectly. Their sauces and sides paired perfectly with the mains. We were 7 people and got the large platte. It was sufficient for us and gave us a good variety. The only complaint I have is that they usually have a good rush most days and sometimes don't take phone reservations. Their wait times exceed an hour most weekends as they have limited seating inside and when the outside weather is not pleasant it can go even higher.

I ordered ribeye steak and jerk chicken. The chicken was average, but I didn’t like the steak at all. It had too many spices, which took away its original taste. It felt more like I was eating beef nihari because of how heavily spiced it was. I asked for it to be well done, and while the color was good, the flavor was disappointing. I also ordered three sides: cheese fries, coleslaw, and rice. The sides were really good—I especially liked the rice. Overall, the steak was very disappointing, and considering the high price, it wasn’t worth the quality of the food.
