A food court nestled right in the middle of heartland mall Canberra Plaza, it is a haunt for reasonably priced, okay food when you don’t feel like paying extortion*te prices for food. I tried the Malay Chicken rice store (HALAL). It was lovely, and the portion was quite big for my liking (and that’s good). Clearly inflation has left this place untouched and trust I’ll be back. The coffee stall runs a popular set of coffee and eggs and toast, providing ample competition to the Yakun 2 storefronts down. Definitely try this place if you’re around here.

Avoid this stall in the Kopitiam who sell very expensive Nasi Padang and the portion is very small. I can have 2 plates of mixed veg rice elsewhere & still have some change. Fish $4.50 Sotong $3.00 Curry Veg $1.50 Rice $1.00 Total: $10

JULY 2023 I think they changed their tartare sauce. Doesn’t taste like Mcd’s tartare sauce anymore. More like Mayonnaise. Not as nice - missing the pickle taste. But fried fish/grill chicken generally still good, fries soggy though JAN 2023 so far I’ve tried their yong tau foo, pretty good as they can re-fried your items. And western. Their fish and tartare sauce taste like McDonald’s fillet o fish.

Most shops are okay here but avoid SITI FATIMAH NASI PADANG. Small portion on add ons. 5 slice of hotdog for $2.

drinks stall aunties are super rude and impatient and will raise their voice at customers. i believe Grove that is just opposite here has the same breakfast sets for the same price and the environment is nicer and the staffs are friendly. i see so many bad reviews about them but they're still working here, so honestly just avoid this stall, you can get breakfast set at grove or just buy your drinks at another shop after your meal.

Avoid the fish soup and ban mian stall. Dumpling lukewarm. Noodle not cooked through. Waste of money 🫠

Bought a breakfast toast set at the drinks stall. The lady at the stall serve the toast that was pre-prepared. It was already toasted, sliced and with butter on it and sitting in a plate. First time I was served breakfast toast in coffee shop in Singapore like this. I asked her if it’s freshly prepared and she said yes. At my seat, I touched the toast and tasted it. It was cold. Never going back again. Prices increasing but quality decreasing.
