Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in recent memory. The biggest issue was the plain steamed rice. The texture was dry and broken, with very little aroma or natural sweetness. It simply did not feel like a product that should be served in a restaurant. The Tom Yum soup was equally disappointing. It lacked the distinctive fragrance of lemongrass, lime, and herbs that define the dish, tasting more like diluted instant soup than a freshly prepared Tom Yum. The vegetables and small shrimp added little to the overall experience. The Thai basil chicken was overly sweet and bore little resemblance to the version I know and enjoy. The chicken omelette was surprisingly bland, almost as if it had been served without seasoning. The fried wontons appeared to have been fried while still stuck together, leaving several pieces clumped into one. Unfortunately, the service reflected the same lack of attention. Staff spent much of their time sitting down and looking at their phones, which left a poor impression. Overall, both the food and the service fell well below expectations. Sadly, this is not a restaurant I would return to. Looking back, I genuinely wish I had chosen another restaurant.

I think their chili is free. Ordered salted egg chicken that came with 30 slices of chili padi that made the dish so spicy. Is it to mask the unfreshness of the chicken? Tom yum soup is filled with cheap frozen ingredients, tastes super sour and once again filled with chili padi.

Honestly quite surprised by how good the food was. Ordered their garlic fried chicken with rice and really enjoyed it — the fried garlic was fragrant, and the chicken was tender and juicy. Only downside was that the chicken portion felt a bit small compared to the amount of rice, so I ended up with quite a lot of rice left after finishing the chicken. Their fried prawns were pretty good too. The prawns were huge, the batter wasn’t too thick, and it paired nicely with the mayo. You can eat the whole prawn, but just chew carefully because some parts of the shell are quite sharp. Would’ve been better if they trimmed those off beforehand. Overall, I’d definitely come back again if I’m nearby.

First time tried here. So many people over the weekend but the service there is good and fast. Manage to get seats and clean table. Food is served hot. Recommended by the local. Comfort food and got variety of choices from rice, noodles and side dishes.

This is our first time visiting this restaurant. All these dishes plus one coke and one Bandong drink cost us ~S$44. To us, it’s worth it because it’s tasty! Would recommend you to try eating at this restaurant when coming over to Far East:)
