My favourite place to eat in Yishun. Really a hidden gem. Please come down and support them so that they can continue serving the best noodles here

BM Lanzhou Halal Ramen is a halal noodle spot tucked away in Yishun that keeps things simple and focused. The space is humble and on the tighter side, which gives it that unpretentious neighborhood eatery feel that tends to go hand in hand with spots that prioritize the food over everything else. It is not the kind of place you go to for the ambiance, but it does not need to be. The signature Lanzhou beef noodles are the main draw and the reason to make the trip. The handmade noodles have a good chew to them and the thinly sliced beef sits in a broth that is lighter and cleaner than what you might expect coming in, carrying more of a delicate beefy depth than a heavy or overpowering base. The chili oil on the side adds a mala kick that layers well into the bowl without taking it over completely, and the overall balance across the dish is what keeps it satisfying rather than just filling. The beef noodle slices with meatball is another solid option if you want something with a bit more variety in the bowl, and the portions across the menu are reasonable for the price point, which runs very accessible relative to what you are getting. Food comes out quickly and the wait is rarely long, which makes it a practical stop when you want something hot and satisfying without a lot of fuss. For halal noodle options in the Yishun area, this one is genuinely worth knowing about.

Worse beef noodles and underwhelming as heck. For the price I paid 8.50 for the signature beef noodles. It came super suspiciously fast like it was...precooked and microwaved...The soup was bland and the noodles itself not good, and super less ingredient, literally just soup, some bland beef slices, cilantro, thats it. 8.50 for just one "signature" bowl is not worth my wallet. Not coming back again :/

I've been here more than 10 times because of how it stayed consistent in terms of taste and how the price is JUST RIGHT for me and my friends !! If you're looking into a very "high class" taste in such price range, then you're in the wrong place... I find the noodles rather just nice! Al-dente? hahaha doesn't matter when it tastes just right after a long day of work or out with your loved ones !! Cheers and hope y'all enjoy this place just as much as I do! (Been here the past 3 years or so? haha) if noodles with extra noodles/bowl of rice with a drink it's gonna be just 13$ LOL. Their price range is NOT crazy, and tastes JUST RIGHT! ;) to each their own!! GET THEIR MALA / TOM YUM !!!

Never so compelled before to leave a low rating, as I felt the 4.2 rating is so deceitful. I don't know was it nice before, but it is at most a 3-star to me. I ordered the signature beef noodle, and within 10 seconds, my bowl was served. 10 seconds! The noodle was pre-cooked, and sticked around in a lukewarm soup. I mean, even if I go hawker centre and order noodles, it would only be cooked upon order right? How could this standalone noodle shop sells noodles that is pre-cooked! I find it totally unacceptable. And it is not like it has long queue before me. There were no people before me, as I was early for dinner, which was about 6+。 For price it is decent with the amount of beef slices, but I really cannot accept that the noodles are so bad. Not going to recommend it if they still do pre-cook the noodle and just dumb it in the bowl upon your ordering. No way!
