Used to buy their bread every morning but they increase their price too fast! One fish burger and tuna bread were $2, then they increased to $2.40. Today, they cost $3 and $2.80 respectively, so they mark up the cost less than 2 weeks since the last increase. What kind of tactic is that? They adjust as and when they like. It’s okay, breadtalk and breadline are just nearby, sure these are better options.

Used to be edible, but the quality dropped a lot. The chocolate waffle I had was as hard as rock, burnt, very thin and dry. The auntie making the waffles was also rude, and just seems like she hated her job.

They sell lots of different old school cakes, pastries and bread. Very affordable! I got this huge piece of fruit cake for just $2. Like that they were individually wrapped which makes it more hygienic due to the high human traffic here. Cake was moist and not overly sweet. Love the toasty and brown crust and the tiny bits of dried fruit within. And it smelled like traditional planta margarine. A nostalgic taste for me. They also periodically sell in season goodies during CNY or Hari Raya. Lots of traditional snacks. Service was fast and efficient.

In Toa Payoh central do you guys know is another bakery near Fairprice opposite Courts? Some flavoured bread and cakes are overpriced here but being just in front to the mrt and the only lift serving TPY hub that's why this bakery is so popular. For choice maybe perhaps it's better to buy from Polar or Prima Deli or that bakery next to Fairprice opposite Courts.

This bakery wins on location and price, but not necessarily on taste. Being situated in the busiest part of HDB Hub, it’s incredibly convenient for a grab-and-go bite. The prices are much friendlier on the wallet than the more renowned brands nearby, but the bread and pastries are fairly basic. It’s a functional choice for a budget-friendly snack, but don't expect the same fluffiness or variety you'd find elsewhere.
