It is so rare to find a hawker who takes so much pride in their food. Let me tell you guys about my experience here. I headed down to get a chicken pide after reading david oon's review. I ordered from the very friendly guy and he set off to make my pide. Saw him spread the dough and left him to do his work as i didn't want to stand around and stress him. When i came back awhile later, i saw that he had just removed my pide from the oven. It looked good, except one corner was overly burnt. Now what would most hawkers do? Probably chop off that corner and serve the rest. Yea i kinda expected him to do just that, and i braced myself for the mild disappointment that my first experience was gonna be a pide that was slightly smaller than expected. But that burnt pide nvr came. Instead, another 5-10 mins passed before he called my number, and i see him serving me a fresh new pide as seen in the photo below. He took so much pride in his food that he was not gonna just chop off a burnt corner and serve a substandard pide. Sure, it took longer, but man, that pide was great. Well flavoured chicken topped with cheese in soft turkish bread that is reminiscent of good naan. Next time i'm gonna follow david and order extra chicken.

I checked out this stall for something different and the value is insane. I ordered the half-portion spring chicken with mandi rice for $12, and it was more than enough for two small eaters. The chicken was tender and the basmati rice was very fragran perfect if you want a heavy, satisfying meal after exploring the North.

Very delicious authentic Middle Eastern food. Not cheap though at $9.50.

Ate at the OnePuggol outlet. Juicy and flourful meat in the mixed pita, and lovely baba ganouche. Friendly staff. Bang for your buck. Awesome fix for my mediterranian cravings.

those who have had authentic Yemeni mandi would know that this is not mandi at all. more like briyani rice with chicken curry and lamb shank curry. was quite disappointed as there were many positive reviews. will not come again. maybe the other dishes would be nicer..? also quite pricey - for the chicken mandi and lamb shank mandi was $29 altogether.. no choice of quarter chicken, have to buy half chicken, which i think is too big a portion for one pax
