A little Indian eatery and an ideal place for admiring street scene or stones Square nearby in Causeway Bay. The intimate food was authentic and the service was alright & helpful. We tried nan, tandoori tikka chicken and curry etc. Live the tasty food and we will come back for curry fish.

Need a little bit effort to find halal food in Hongkong. Luckily, we found Aladin Mess just 8 minutes walk from park lane Hotel. We tried lamb sambosa, lamb curry, naan bread, mango lassi, lemon soda…. Everything was delicious 👌 Surely will be back before going back home 👍

This was my first time in this place ideally located in Causeway Bay. The service was good and the waitress very smily and helpful. We tried different curry specialities and 2 starters. The food was very tasty and well cooked. We had a good portion of rice to go with the curry. The lamb and the chicken were tender and delicious. Maybe the curry could have been a little bit stronger to have even more taste. But the experience is really good. We also tried the naan. I would say one of the best I ever tried in Hong Kong. The atmosphere of the restaurant is basic. I appreciated to be sitting next the windows with a view on Time Square! Well done guys! Will definitely come back.

Have been going here for years, food is still as good as ever! This place is a hole in the wall that makes VERY good Indian food. If you're expecting a clean, proper sit-down type of restaurant, then this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a good Indian restaurant that consistently makes quality food, then this is the place for you. I found out about this place when an Indian friend of mine took me here once. She says it's pretty close to her grandma's cooking, so I knew I had to give it a try. I've tried other Indian restaurants, but this is honestly my fave. Have been going here ever since. I go here often enough that the servers remember my usual order. They get surprised when I try something new. My usual order is pretty basic - I like to get the chicken makhani, paneer makhani, plain naan x2, vegetable pakora, and mango lassi. This is usually enough food between me and a second person. Sometimes we don't finish everything, and take away the rest. My only complaint is I wish they would serve pani puri. My friend told me that's a street food, but it would be an absolute treat if they do serve it! I've had it at other Indian restaurants. Highly recommended if you're around the area and craving Indian food!

Probably the best value Indian food for its price on Hong Kong island. They have different set combos to make ordering easy. Seating and atmosphere is minimalist, but doesn’t matter cause you’re going there for the food.

***A bit cramped BUT taste too good 😋*** While Aladdin is not big on ambience/seating, their food tastes so good 😋, they should be at least in the conversation for a Michelin star🌟👍🏻 They definitely serve one of the more authentic-tasting Indian food in Hong Kong- CHICKEN JALFREZI is pretty good😋. FISH Pakora is a nice starter (crunchy batter with soft meat inside)😋, but sometimes it may take a bit longer to come. The LAMB KEBAB is excellent, and so tempting as it comes in a sizzling hot plate🌟. DAL MAKHANI (or butter lentil) is rich and awesome... after eating it, you feel satisfyingly FULL for hours... maybe for rest of the day!😍 And their NAAN breads are so soft, it’s like eating a CLOUD! (Not sure if that made sense!)😃😃. I totally LOVE the GARLIC NAAN and ONION KULCHA (which is also a kind of naan). As said before, there is nothing much in terms of ambience and some might consider the seating/tables a bit cramped ... but who cares when chomping down on such tasty fare.👍 At these prices, this food is almost like a steal.

Not a great place to go for a good curry. They’re not interested in authentic taste or giving you a good experience. It seems to be riding off the location near Times Square. The white meat was dry or slightly undercooked. The masala curry was watery & oily. The butter naan was the best dish (8/10) and the beef brisket (7.5) in the masala dish was pretty good too. I’d recommend going to Deli Club in Chungking Mansions or Queens Road Market in Sheung Wan for Chautari Restaurant - both places are 9.5/10 for Indian food.
