Satisfying meal here. A good place to have BOTH chicken rice and decent tze char food. The prawn omelette that I had here was a tad over cooked for my liking, so is the fried chicken. Kai lan with mushroom is super goooood! Breakdown of the cost: Prawn omelette: $9.90 Mushroom & Kai lan: $8.90 Fried Chicken Set: $9.90 Good thing here also is that even though it was peak lunch hours we could get seats rather quickly!

At the cross street exchange outlet : We had a hotpot for 2 with chicken broth. The food was great and the service staff was attentive to us as well. Happen to see that the restaurant is in the Michelin guide from 2018-2023 ! Definitely recommended :)

Arrived at around 11.45am on a Friday and there wasn’t a large crowd yet. Had the roasted chicken rice with roselle tea - ngl the chilli sauce was rather addicting haha kept dipping the chicken slices into the chilli sauce. The portion (with the beancurd and cucumber slices) felt just nice. The roselle tea taste was on the sweeter side, didn’t enjoy it as much but was still rather nice.

The staff are friendly and attentive to our needs. Erfa specially overheard our conversation when we spoke about the different sauces that we wanted and brought them over. Very thankful for their service and definitely a place to visit to try authentic Thai Food.

Personal best briyani in Singapore. They had a stall in Jurong West n I used to frequent, until they moved out. Been craving for them since n finally had a chance to come Toa Payoh to try them again. They use alot of herbs so their rice n food are very fragrant. I don't like spicy food but I like theirs cos it's not very spicy. Their chicken is super tender n I love their potato n egg too. Their prata used to be great too but I din get a chance to try it today. I used to love their teh tarik too but they don't sell it now since they are in a coffeeshop that has its own drink stall. Will definitely come back again for their prata.

Ordered Maggie goreng n mee goreng. Both dishes turned out to be salty n merely filled with the seasoning. As wanted to change the dishes, realise they started cleaning up after serving us.

Love the nasi biryani! And the prata! One of the best that I have eaten!

Paid $6.50 for a maggie goreng with minced mutton. The maggie noodles was 1st off wet and clumpy, and had no taste whatsoever,no salt no sugar no sauce no nothing.. mince mutton pieces were also few and far between and couldnt be found. This pic is what was left after a few mouthfuls of this meal, that i had no choice but to abandon,in order to go and buy another lunch set from elsewhere. Perhaps their briyani or rojak might be better, but i wouldnt know, most probably wun be back to try.
