Refreshingly good food! Great place to stop for a bite.

Great food options, good quality dishes. However crazy queue and waiting time, so be prepared for that. The outdoor seating area is amazing, if you choose right table( most right side), feels like having a meal in the forest. Overall good experience.

Good to find a place for lunch inside the Zoo. The food however is quite standard. Ingredients are mostly the same across every dish, even between adult and kids meal, only the main and the plate varies. Price are expensive since it’s a tourist spot. Only wish that they can be more creative and have more variety in their dishes. The outdoor space is spacious though.

Not bad for a tourist attraction food court. Prices are obviously way more than what we’d normally pay outside of the zoo as locals, but it is only fair to pay a premium considering where we were. Discounts available with Friends of the Zoo membership. Halal-certified stalls means there’s something for everyone, which is great. Food options are pretty good, you can get classic SG fare like chicken rice, banmian, biryani, and other popular ‘newer’ dishes like Mala Xiangguo. There are also Western dishes like fish and chips. Overall nice for a quick lunch. Would suggest to go earlier at 11am to avoid the crazy crowd.

Considering it is inside the zoo, the prices are a bit higher. Food is not that bad also. Can be crowded during meal times. Huge food option. Near a very spacious restrooms.

Breakfast in the Wild at the Ah Meng Restaurant is one special dining experience that let's you dine in a restaurant with animals roaming nearby. The buffet selection is fabulous, offering both local and western dishes. The main highlights are the animals that they bring out during the breakfast time - all with photo sessions. There is usually a long queue to take photos with the Orangutans. My overall experience was satisfactory.

The breakfast in the wild is quite nice, I liked the food and drinks. As it is quite expensive (45$ adults, $35 kids 6-12) I guess I would only recommend to visit with kids under 6, otherwise together with the necessary zoo entrance it would be a really heavily overpriced experience.

Laksa was good, chicken rice was terrible! Laksa was full of flavor but the chicken rice was dry, lacking flavor, and the chicken was too cold. The saving grace for the chix rice was the braised tofu Kopi was good too

The fish and chips was so bad. The fish was so dry and the exterior was soft and doughy. My 2 year old son nearly choked while eating. It's so disappointing for 18 bucks worth of food. Pls do better.

We came here for breakfast in the wild and then again for lunch since it’s the only place to eat in the zoo. Buffet was ok but not great. The items weren’t refreshed often and so we missed out on a lot of them. Some were just substandard, like the hashbrowns were all soggy and the fruit on the fruit platter was underripe. At lunch the queue was massive and we waited 20 mins to place our order.

Came here for MND Family Day 2023, the restaurant's standards have never changed, consistently practicing the art of scamming tourists and locals alike. Chicken Rice too much bones Ice Lemon Tea you're only getting 1/4 of a cup since 3/4 is filled with ice.

The only restaurant inside Mandai Zoo. It was so crowded that we was so hard to get a seat. Wait for almost 1 hour and my child is starving 🥲

Overall the experience is good and walkable. But the food is on the high side. And their chicken rice is prob the worst I ever tasted in my 40yrs livelihood in SG. And it's 13.90 some more.....

Tried the breakfast buffet in the wild. Its always interesting to get up close and occasionally touch the animals. However, at $45 a person, the buffet could have been better. The food was fine but nothing to rave about

The breakfast at the Singapore Zoo surpassed expectations. Amidst the wildlife, it offered a diverse buffet with local delights. The value for money made it an exceptional experience—highly recommended for a memorable start to your day! And there is a animal show performance and get your photos taken with the animals.

We ordered dry noodles, laksa and kampong chicken rice. The price is more on the expensive end but for a tourist place, it is ok. The food it self itself is pretty good, for example, the laksa is pretty good and the chicken rice is rather bland but ok. The dry noodles on the other hand, is not good. When we are eating, it started raining and the lights switched off, living us to eat in the dark. Disappointing.

EH WAH The food standard srsly improved!!!! Mala not bad quite spicy (But not too spicy for me of course 😉🐺) Then the tandoori chicken also bomb! Nyonya curry also 👍 then salmon bento also 👍. OK LA FOOD JUST YUMMY LA. 🔥🔥🔥 Went around 12pm and there were seats inside (aircon) and outside (no aircon). You have to order from the counter outside so I majorly embarrassed myself by trying to order from inside. AWKWARD! The restaurant was a little dirty but whatever! Thanks guys

Main zoo restaurant. Food was decent with big dish sizes. Unfortunately it's a self-pickup restaurant. After you stand in queue to order you then stand again in queue to pass your order to the kitchen then wait there to pick-up your food. Also they're a bit desperate with their "environment saving" that they don't even give you napkins to clean your hands / mouth after eating, you have to buy a separate 2$ napkins package

Heading to a place like the zoo, you'd expect things to cost a bit more, and yep, the food here isn't cheap. The taste is pretty normal, basically just to get full. But, the Mala is actually pretty good, which is a nice surprise when you're not expecting much from a touristy spot. Now, the drinks are another story. Paid $8.90 for a fruit juice, and honestly, it tasted worse than the cheap stuff you get from a vending machine for just two bucks. So, maybe stick to the simple stuff when it comes to drinks.
