Honest review? Pricing slight above food court outside. Only used Payne and cash insert to the machine. Very dark areas even though it is afternoon now. From others review is pretty bad though. Things ordered like grilled chicken chop, fish and chips and Adam penyet were tasteless and quite blend. I guess probably they only target for delivery order or events here. Not many people eventhough is Sunday, only 1 table occupied.

Good is generally tasty no no matter what stall u order. However, the service can probably improve as the waiting time to order and get food is quite long. Food is a bit pricey compared to neighbouring zichar but cheaper than Penang culture

Walk pass this place and decide to try. We didn’t read the review before coming here. Read a lot of bad comments on this place but honestly the food is pretty good imo!. We order Ayam Bakar and ikan Bakar is so good! Chili was the BOMB, soo spicy but shiok. I can just eat the Chili and rice honestly. One of better place of Ayam/ikan Bakar I’ve tried. I knw there bad that comment on the other foods there but we didn’t try but base on this dish its good! It is slightly pricey but its okay. If ur coming down be sure to try this!

I ordered sambal stingray at Sengkang outlet and turn out the stingray wasn't cooked well! There was still some smelly taste in it and the meat is tough! I hope they improve on it

We waited for 20 mins for the foods. No staff is clearing the tables (after lunch crowd)... The foods taste horrible; french fries overcooked, the coleslaw is not fresh and the chicken for Ayam penyet is tasteless... Yet to mention the bad attitude of ordering staff. First and last experience here.

Ordered breaded fish and chips for $11.90. the only thing the fish looked big is bc of the flour and breadcrumbs. The actual portion of the fish is really little. Quite a scam I can say for that kind of price. And it's not even during peak period for them to mess up the food, abt 3pm+ and its just me and my husband eating thr. Please do better

I recently had a takeaway meal and I have to say I was very disappointed. The meat was incredibly tough to chew and felt like I was gnawing on rubber. Additionally, the portion size was extremely small, especially considering that the dish was supposed to serve six people. It felt like we were barely getting a taste of the food before it was all gone. On top of that , the price was incredibly overpriced for the quality of the food. It simply did not match up. I would strongly advise against going to this restaurant if you are hungry and looking for a satisfying meal with good-sized portions. Save your money and go elsewhere. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone especially given the high prices and low quality. From the quality of the food it just seems like the chef is lazy or just cant be bothered to cook

Ordered 3 main dishes but all the rice undercooked. A disappointed dining experience.

dk why they are still operating. The food is really bad and bland! Look at my pale white bee hoon 😩. No offering of sambal at the side at all. What they have is just cili padi or cili jeruk. Lol.

WORST PLACE EVER (DO NOT PATRONIZE!) We ordered a bowl of grass jelly & chendol & all we got were chunks of ice with syrup! One bowl of ICE costs us $4 so in total, we've spent $8 on two bowls of ice! We visited this place at around 8-9pm (I wouldn't call it a cafe / restaurant cause there's no aircon and the place is messy af) and there was only another group of customers present in the shop. The drinks/dessert kiosk guy took his own sweet time to take our orders & took nearly 15-20 mins to prepare two bowls of ice?! We got a shock when we saw the "grass jelly" & "chendol" that is priced exorbitantly! There wasn't any grass jelly (it's just a chunk of unmelted ice with an orange coloured jelly?!) & the chendol was also just another chunk of UNMELTED ICE with minimal ingredients! (Refer to the video below) The ice was so hard that we can't even eat it with our PLASTIC SPOON 😡😡😡 This is literally a SCAM! Oh and while we sat & try to wait for our bowl of ice to melt, drama unfolds in the shop. There were lots of delivery drivers standing outside the shop waiting for their orders (but the orders took a lifetime to make of course). One of them went into the shop to ask for his order and the indian guy at the food kiosk counter shouted back at him (& they quarreled) & subsequently the delivery guy left. If I had the choice to give this place zero stars, I would.

When we arrived, no one came to pass the menu. The menu that we saw on the counter was the seafood kind. Asked the old man (cleaner? waiter?), he just reluctantly pointed his finger at the counter. So after we have decided on what to eat, we rang the counter bell twice/thrice but no one came, BUT we still understand the kitchen staff might be busy so we waited patiently until: This old man walked passed us and have the biggest AUDACITY to tell us off: "Faster order because closing soon" while pointing to his watch repeatedly. WELL OLD MAN, THEN TELL THAT TO YOUR STAFF. You tell us customers for what? As if we could go inside your kitchen and cooked it ourselves. (Mind you, it's only 10.20pm and they closed at 11pm) To the management: If your closing time stated as 11pm, please allow your workers clocked-out time as 11.30pm to do cleaning and stuff. If their clocked-out time is 11pm, then tell your customers the closing time/last order is 10.30pm. Nevertheless, our timing of 10.20pm is reasonable enough for just 2 pax and we ate within less than 10 minutes. Really lost our appetite with the attitude shown from that old man.

Came here to spend the CDC voucher, wanted to order my usual Black Pepper Prawn Fried Rice but seems like it got removed from the menu. The restaurant looks like it's on the brink of closing down(?) with zero patron except myself on a Wed dinner hour. And they're now serving mookata and loklok but with that they're no longer an air-conditioned eatery which is a big pity because the place is warm and stuffy. May not visit again due to the less than pleasant environment and cost of food. Hopefully the management can do something before the nearby hawker centre opens.

Laksa was so oily the US want to evade it. From the colour you can already tell there’s no laksa essence aka lemak kelapa. Also, your cockles have started to go bad. Please throw them away

Ordered Fish tempura fried rice via food delivery app on 25 Dec 2023. Halfway eating the dish I found a foreign substance of what looks like fake eyelash extensions in my food! Unbelievable, I can’t believe I have eaten the contaminated food. Will not dine here anymore!

On 7/1/24, My family purchased chili crab and other seafood food options, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon consuming the food, I immediately noticed an unusual taste and odor, which raised concerns about its safety and quality. Subsequently, I examined the food item more closely and discovered evidence of contamination, the crab that was given to us was a bad one. As a return customer, I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by this incident, as I have always regarded your establishment as a reliable and trustworthy source of quality food. The compromised state of the purchased item not only posed a health risk but also marred the overall reputation of your business in my eyes. I believe that incidents of this nature should be addressed promptly and with the utmost seriousness. To ensure the well-being of your customers and the reputation of your establishment, I kindly request the following actions: A thorough investigation into the root cause of the contamination to prevent future occurrences. Immediate removal of the contaminated food item from your inventory. A review of your food safety and quality control procedures to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Bought Kampong fried rice. What should be inside the meal? Fried rice and ikan bilis and cracker right. But this does not come with ikan bilis and cracker. I had to pay additional$1 to add ikan bilis. So technically $6 is just plain fried rice. So I paid $7.60 and it doesn't look like the display at all.

Ordered Ipoh Crispy Hor Fun and it was horrible. The waiting time was close to 30 mins even though it was near empty. The prawns head are black and disintegrated. This means that the prawns have gone bad. The crispy hor fun was not fresh anymore. It's easy identify pre fried hor fun as it is harder and cold. If you are going to continue to serve food like this, might as well close down your place and let others serve better food. Highly avoid dining here. Save your money and stomach for somewhere more worth it.

Ordered the nasi lemak thinking what could go wrong? The rice was dry and hard, like overnight rice that was just taken out from a fridge. Dont even need to think about the lemak. Chilli was insanely salty. I regret everything about this meal.
