Would have preferred to opt for the salted egg and fried chicken to be separated - you can ask for this, albeit at a 10cent additional charge. The salted egg sauce is well-balanced but felt it slightly destroyed the freshness of the fried chicken. Chili is very original. Can select the spiciness level. Goes well with Indomee too! Worth coming to try for sure but not the best salted egg chicken blend. Price is pretty reasonable given the portion. Very fast service too.

I have been aiming to eat at this place. Finally I got a time to go and eat. What is so specially about Papa Ayam? Oh well, the chicken is so crispy and the fiery chilli aka sambal pedas is sooo good. If you are into spicy food, this would be your truly favourite ones to eat! They have so levels of spiciness from 0 up to 27 of spiciness.. But for this one, I tried level 10 & 27. Level 10 was just nice for me to enjoy (if you really can take spicy lah). But my friend ate level 3 which just nicr for those who don't take spicy (still spicy but not much). And I did try level 27 if your stomach can take it. Afte had my 27 level of the spiciness, nature call after that. Sambal mata is an onion sambal if you like onions (this is not for those who don't like onion because of the strong smell) After all, I would say, it's worth to buy. 1 set consist of chicken + rice + crackers + chilli ( only for level 0-15) While 1 set of level 27 chilli, consist of 1 & the half of chicken + double scoop of chilli + rice +crackers + soft drinks. 💯 Muslim-Owned (Definitely it's Halal guys!) Located at Orchard 313 Somerset (They have other outlet at PLQ & I can't remember where another one)

Taste is good with generous potion of chicken considering the price. Salted egg sauce was really thick and spicy. The potion overall is all right. Worth trying once.

Till this day my colleagues still remind myself of my stupidity for ordering the level 27 spiciness Ayam Geprek. Yeah it’s not joke I jokingly thought to myself how bad can it? Turns out it’s REALLY bad. Ok the flavour of the actual dish is great, it’s not just pure spice you can taste the garlic and the fragrance of the fried chicken with white rice. But please don’t attempt the 27 if you enjoy your mouth and stomach. Thanks you.

Gonna be pretty honest in my reviews as with any others as usual. Reason for it not able to get 5 stars from me was the fried chicken dices in my ayam geprek were too cold and just didn't get the full fried chicken feel. Because of its chilli (I have to admit I am not a fan of spicy mala or others who reviewed here but I just want because I want to detox my body abit from the chilli intake so force myself to take lvl 5 spicy), chilli is awesome for those chilli lovers. For those who can take spicy, just mix it immediately. For those who cannot like me, just separate out and dip as and when you want or need. My wife ordered indomie lvl 3 while me rice lvl 5. Their indomie was also awesome for consideration. Now @owner if you really want to improve, the chicken fried could taste abit like the taiwanese fried chicken cutlet (shilin nightstreet i saw one at B3 nearby your stall too). Alternatively go to lvl 1 at lucky* plaza. There is an mini coffeeshop there sell drinks, veggie rice, chinese soupy food and authentic indonesian food. Try out the indomie geprek. Have nice weekend!

Tried Ayam Geprek Trio to savor all their chili varieties, and it turned out to be surprisingly good. Among them, my favorite remains the green chili cabe ijo. What impressed me most was the ability to customize the spiciness level, ranging from non-spicy to an extreme level. It's a must-visit place for spice enthusiasts!

I love spicy food and repeat order with papa ayam. I bought it online with Foodpanda. Ayam geprek level 15 not that spicy to me ;p .. still I love the sambal.. I tried their W.T.F level 25 the spiciest sambal and took me 10mins to finished it .. lol.. and super best spicy level. To those who love to eat spicy but cannot tahan much.. u can choose spicyness from 0-15 level.. they have varieties menu u can choose from..

A year ago, this place was my favorite. Had late lunch at this place. Service was as lukewarm as usual. This was never an issue in the past as I had good food. This time, lukewarm service gets higher ratings. Food quality is not the same. The taste of the sambal matah was not like before, and the chicken eventhough is fried fresh had an old oil taste to it. Sadly, won't visit again.

interesting Indonesia street food which has been growing. i have tried this a number of times food is good for the price but can be slow at times . The picture above shows how sambal corktail is mixed with a base added as one and hotter variants added to make the intensity from one to ten

If need to eat sambal matah , which is usually in Bali, try the chicken sambal matah here. Could he spicier, much better. Sambal hijau (green chilli) and the normal chilli also nice Complete with teh botol for the meal, just perfect for lunch

The food was amazing, the chill is ground using mortar and pestle and it was spicy enough to impress. Matah was mild unfortunately but fragrant and heavily spice, the original level 6 was enough to keep me impressed. Generous portion, good amount of chilli on the chicken and chicken was still crispy even after being doused in chilli.

the chicken was well seasoned and delicious, while the indomie had the right texture (not the over or undercooked kind). the sambal had a spicy kick to it, salted egg yolk was okay, but we felt that both sauces could be more flavourful. the lady who took our order was very nice!!

Super yummy ayam geprek, my go-to place and comfort food 🥰❤️! I’ve been going here for years since they first opened! I always get the ayam geprek indomie at level 1 spicy, with the sambal separated so I can enjoy the chicken with and without the sambal! (Also a good idea to separate if you’re worried about it being too spicy) Even without the sambal, the chicken is already so good. Crunchy, crispy, tender, with very little fats, for a good balance of meat! I love the crisp and slight hints of salty sourness which make it super delicious. I don’t know what to do if this shop ever closes down, Papa Ayam is my comfort place 😆
