Got an iced Spanish Latte, and it was alright. While it's the drink I always order from any café I visit, it was probably a bad choice to truly be able to appreciate a place that grows and roasts their own beans. I should have tried their pour overs but we weren't staying too long enough for me to really enjoy it. Hope to visit again in the future.

This is my first destination in Taiwan and I was blown away by the hospitality provided by the owner of this Airbnb! Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude to the owner of the place which is an uncle who is super friendly and helpful. He took the trouble multiple times to drive us back and forth to the nearby restaurants to eat and to the convenience store to buy what we need. Bus schedule here can be very unpredictable and don't even bother getting a cab or Uber cause there aren't much rides in Alishan. Room: The room was super cosy. We got a room in the highest floor towards the end. The room was a little small but sufficient for a 2-night stay. In-house tea was provided and there's a water dispenser on the second floor to get water although they did provide an electric kettle. Bathroom was clean and loved the rain shower. Shampoo and body wash was provided. The best thing about this room is that you can wake up to a beautiful sunrise view overlooking the mountains of Alishan! Breakfast: We were given a generous portion of healthy breakfast. It was very delicious. We were also given a cup of their in-house coffee which tasted absolutely amazing. The owner also took the time to explain about the coffee that they grew personally. Location: Easily accessible from the nearby bus stop which is a walking distance. The only problem is the very irregular bus schedule along the route between Chiayi and Alishan. Buses aren't on time and some bus drivers don't stop if you don't inform them before departing. Which was a bit frustrating but the owner was so so kind to pick us up a few times when we needed the ride. What a lifesaver! I honestly will 100% recommend this Airbnb if you're coming to Alishan. Good hospitality, good food and cosy room for an affordable price, what more can we ask for? Once again, we really love the owner's warm and kind hospitality. Thank you uncle!

Booked on Airbnb, hosts were really gracious to send us to our lunch spot and take our bags from the bus station. The room was spacious and clean and the included breakfast the next day was delicious.

A very fashionable guesthouse, clean and tidy, with good coffee and a quiet environment! The breakfast is simple but nutritious!
