Excellent food. Went with family for dinner and ordered Nihari, Lamb Shank and Nan. Everything tasted awesome. Nan was so fresh and perfect. Special mention to the delicious Lamb Shank. Was simply awesome. Great service too. Samio was very sweet and respectful. Highly recommended.

Restraurant is charming and has a homey vibe. I didnt expect to find Bengali food this good in St Johns but I was happily surprised! Portion sizes for the curries are only enough for a single person so get multiple if you want to share.

I looked for St. John's most well rated restaurants and this came up. It was ok, but I wanted to even out the reviews a bit because this place was rated as if it was a must-do the way a few other 'hole in the wall' international restaurants are. Food was good but not amazing. Really dirty tables, cluttered, dirty bathroom and dark inside. You'll have an ok bite here if you're looking for new places to try but there are a lot of other places with lower ratings that are better.

The food was good; I ordered Pakistani food (Chicken Karahi & Shammi Kabab), and it tasted great. The karak chai is also fantastic. If you don't have your own car, you can take Bus 10 (downtown) to get there. It's almost opposite to the stop.

Ordered puri and the chola platter and nihari. Nihari only has 3 really small pieces of meat and charged $14 almost, gravy was not thick or tasteful. I never had any nihari like this. Puri tasted fine and the nan was okay as well. However the previous owner made the perfect naans and all the food were flavorful. Not comparing but it’s really disappointing considering their pricing and minimum expectation. Price was not worth jt and will not buy it for full price ever again or recommend someone else. Highly disappointed.
