I love the fried mushroom ban mian (dry) here! They raised the price by 50 cents but I guess covid really affecting businesses everywhere... the food here is customisable! Ask for sambal chili if you are a chili eater to go along with this dish, is so yummy!

Was here on father's day as all the restaurants were fully booked and this place was relatively empty. This should have been a red flag. The kopi o was just a supermarket coffee sachet in hot water, and kopi peng tasted like 3-in-1 coffee with ice. The tom yam soup tasted like it was cooked using tom yam powder. The food from coffeeshop or food court would have treated better. To top it off, what I thought was a piece of cabbage in the tom yam noodle soup was somehow unchewable. Turns out it was actually a piece of plastic. We called the staff over to see and she apologised and said it was the crabstick wrapper. She offered either to recook another bowl or refund. I had already lost my appetite and asked for refund. They gave a packet of complimentary prawn crackers but what's been done cannot be undone. Avoid this place if you don't want to waste your calories. I wished I had bought food from the nearby Don Don Donki to eat instead.

The rate basically for the taste. Among all orders I got, none of them had appealing taste, unfortunately. It could be due to healthy factor, yes indeed couldn’t taste any msg nor even certain level of saltiness. The tom yum noodle taste 90% like lack seasoned prawn noodle 🙃. The dumpling, even the chili or sambal they provided couldn’t help me with the taste, it is super bland. The pizza noodles? Imagine yellow noodle added pasta sauce and boiled sausage, that’s it. However my husband can enjoy better than me so I gave 2 stars. Probably some ppl fond of the lack of tastiness? Cuz I saw there are many customers. No issue with the service and cleanliness, price is also affordable.. only the taste 👅

There are 2 outlets at Downtown East and it looks interesting from the menu with different kinds of noodle. The price is also quite reasonable. However, this restaurant earn my first 1 star review. The laksa soup is so diluted, and I can only taste the chili + water. There is no cockle in the laksa, instead they put chicken, so weird. The paprika noodle has nothing special other than the orange colour. The prawn is not fresh and has no taste. The tom yum soup is made by the Tom yum paste like those in hawker center, and not fully melted. The dumpling and the green noodle was also tasteless. The service was also strange. You have to order and paid at your table first, before they send you the food. If you want to get noodle here, you should better cook your own instant noodle at home.

Having lunch here. The service is very bad or i should say there is no service .Never tell us we can choose noodle and just said we choose ramen and cannot change d. The taste is bad. The noodle is not even cooked. If u compare the cooked noodle vs photo in the menu , they totally looks diff.

TLDR: A store that exploits consumers. Take your money elsewhere. Unethical business. Can't help to give a 1 star review. For the first time. If not for my brother that's vegetarian where there's non-meat choices here, I wouldn't have entered. Firstly, it portrays itself as a Japanese ramen shop. The Tomyum Japanese ramen just looks and taste like a Chinese ramen. Secondly, the Kopi O, wasn't from coffee beans. Neither was it from coffee powder. They were from 2-in-1 Kopi O bags. And for $1.10. Seriously? Thirdly, I highly suspect everything's frozen here. My tom yum noods just tasted so artificial. Tasted like tomyum powder with 3 pcs of frozen shrimps, 2 frozen squid rings and 2-3 pieces of frozen fishes, 2 pcs of crabstick, with a sprinkle of shredded veg. I highly suggest CASE Singapore to look into this. Never coming back again.

Terrible service by this china woman who is a manager at the yumen stall. Asked for bowl didn’t give me then need me to go to counter to ask again. I asked for another request for a scissor to cut my child food and she gave me the scissor without washing from the stationary holder. Such a low EQ person who don’t have common sense of hygiene. Failed food license, dine at own risk served by her! Better get fine for low hygiene by food licensing!

ordered the cold sesame noodle, a value for money place. You have nine different noodle types to choose. The side dishes are all good choices to try. Plus point is this is halal so you could see that many muslims visit the place.

Something is weird with the food. The last time I ate here with my wife a few months back, I had minor food poisoning the same night. I didn't think much of it. But it happened again - to my wife this time. Suspect it might be the fried chicken.

The noodle texture is ok, everything else is not ok. Frozen squid, shrimp and soup taste like instant noodle soup powder.

Till this point of my life, I can safely say this has to be the worst food I had ever eaten. If the food isn't stale because it has a strange odour then it must be extremely awful. Photos of what it's supposed to be and what was served are enclosed here for your own judgement. The two main orders were a Laksa noodle and a Tom yum ramen. Laksa is just plain blend or tasteless with no fragrance whatsoever and Tom yum smells bad and tasted fishy, as if the puny prawns in it were either uncooked or they were plain stale. It was supposed to come with Japanese ramen according to the menu but what was served were Chinese yellow noodles instead and fyi the taste is entirely different from Japanese ramen. I am not a fussy eater and I don't waste food, but after the first bite of the noodles with a sip of soup, I gave up, I can't be eating this. As for the Laksa, my son was kinder, he downed it with at least 3 tbsp of chili but too agreed that the Laksa was also one of the worst foods he had ever tasted. This is clearly a 0 star noodle cafe based on those two dishes. So will we be back to give them a second chance to try the other dishes? NEVER!

I would say it is a relatively cheap option that can be found in Downtown East. There is a variety of noodles & soup bases to choose from. We chose Tom Yum + pumpkin noodles and Seafood soup + carrot noodles. However, the taste was really so so. Once is enough :)

Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience with the service provided by the manager at the Yumen stall, who, I believe, may be a Chinese woman. I requested a bowl, but she did not provide one, and I had to return to the counter to request it once more. To make matters worse, I asked for a pair of scissors to cut my child's food, and she handed me a pair of scissors from the stationary holder without washing them. This was quite concerning, as it displayed a lack of hygiene and disregard for basic food safety practices. It is disheartening to encounter someone with such low emotional intelligence and a lack of common sense when it comes to hygiene. It is essential for individuals in the food service industry to adhere to strict hygiene standards and prioritize the well-being of customers. I strongly urge the relevant authorities to reevaluate the food license of this establishment and consider the potential risks to public health. Dining at such a place could pose a risk to one's health, and it is imperative that appropriate actions are taken to address these issues. Dine at own RISK!

Very very reasonable price for special noodles that make from carrots, spinach, pumpkin, paprika... With price like $4.50/$5.50 etc, side dishes will be frozen n top with sauces n coffee come in as instant... For the price u pay, nothing to shout about or complaints about... N taste wise, not really good thou for Muslim Chinese foods ... Will not visit if possible...

A small noodle restaurant located within Downtown East. They are Halal certified. Theres a few noodles dishes on the Menu. Simple decoration. Clean and comfortable. Prices were reasonable comparing with other foods shops around the area. Foods were average. Will try other restaurants rather than revisit.
