Value for Money buffet. It wasn't crowded at 12noon, the food is nice. Though the selection was not as many as other hotels but the food is replenished very frequently. The roast beef was tender, the fish was fresh and cooked just right. The beef rendang is delicious. There was fresh salmon and shell fish were fresh and replenished quickly. There was a laksa live station. At the deserts corner, there was a live station for making waffles, chilled durian puree was fantastic. Fruits and durian puree were kept fresh in chiller drawers. Free flow of coffee and tea, juices, and water. This restaurant is halal. The service staff were super friendly and helpful. Clearance of tables was fast and efficient. We received free cakes for our birthday girls and boys. Highly recommended.

This is an old school style of cafe with mix local & international food. Value for money & the staffs are very friendly. Not much crowd over the weekdays dinner.

Selection was decent, though nearly identical to the last time I came months ago. Service was not really worth the charge. Food, however, while cooked properly was all fairly tasteless. Will not be coming back again.

Having a bite of almost every food item available that night, I'd say the experience was fairly mid, considering the price we had to pay. Staff was friendly and food was replenished quickly. Location was fairly easy to find, though ambience feels dated and aircon was quite warm however that may be due to the crowd. Although there was a good selection of food, many disappointed us. The Good What I recommend: Durian pengat, DIY Laksa, Seafood on ice, Beef rendang Durian pengat was tasty, not too strong, not too sweet. Laksa gravy was spot on delicious, however ingredients were lacking. Beef rendang was a tad tough but gravy was very flavourful and not too spicy What my friend recommends: Seafood on ice, beef rendang, wok fry ginger prawns, tiramisu sponge cake The Bad Not recommended by me: Roast beef, baked lamb, steamed fish, cream of pumpkin Not recommended by friend: Chili crab, steam fish Baked lamb, roast beef, baked salmon, and steamed fish were all overcooked and dry Cream of pumpkin was bland even after adding salt Chili crab for my friend tasted grainy, and sauce was quite thick and starchy The Mid Cauliflower tasted nice but was also cold Creme Brulee was not of the usual texture, felt more like jelly that tasted like creme brulee, though tasted okay Seafood really depended on the spread - first round of prawns didn't taste of much, but the second round of prawns were sweet Suggestion Waffles should be manned by staff so customers don't hog the station Verdict: - A good mix of food. Halal kitchen. - Some standout tasty food (beef rendang, durian pengat, laksa) - Seafood variety was not the freshest but on the bright side, not stale - Buffet price is on the higher end (approx $50 per pax) - Some food were downright inedible - Can probably give this place a try (their mains rotate between four menus) if you're in the area - However may not be a returning customer

Overall good food variety; got Japanese food like sashimi and sushi, rice, meat, vegetables, soup, desserts. Laksa egg tastes very bad and egg yolk is powdery maybe rotten already. Atmosphere is good too, very few people not crowded. Quite hard to find the place from Chinatown MRT, have to walk all the way round Furama city centre. Male staff cleared the empty plates very promptly and politely. Just that the sign on the ice cream freezer is misleading and confusing saying that there’ll be charges for the different type of waffles including waffle with ice cream and when I asked the female staff there she wasn’t too patient in explaining. She just keep saying vaguely that it’s only for outside not inside, outside could be outside restaurant which still had dessert section or it could mean outside the entire restaurant. If the sign doesn’t apply to your customers then just remove it! Don’t leave misleading information there.

It has been about a year since our last visit here and so we returned for our weekend buffet lunch here. The cafe was nice and cosy but was full house, very crowded. In terms of food, they had quite a wide spread of Asian, Local and Western. On the day of our visit, they offered black pepper crabs and crayfish, chicken rendeng, grilled salmon, roast chicken, stir fried veggies (eggplant), stir fried noodles, spring rolls, lamb shoulder, DIY laksa, seafood counter of fresh prawns and musells, fresh salmon and sushi maki, salad bar and many more. Well, there were "hits and misses" of the food, but generally they were satisfactory. For example, the lamb shoulder was quite hard and the gravy was watery while the noodles were a little too salty. The cafe was famed for pastries and they did offer a good array of cakes, and also DIY whaffles which you can top up with kaya, peanut butter etc. And they also have fresh cut fruits, durian pengat (a must try), ice cream, and coffee and tea and included in the buffet too. And they did have unique tea flavours like oolong tea with peach, green tea with lemonade and lime among other common ones. What I liked best was the homemade lemonade with cucumber drink. It was very refreshing and icy and great to have on a sunny day. Service wise. Staff were generally friendly and efficient in clearing used plates and utensils. However, they should have provided a bowl of water for washing hands at every table since most diners would be eating the crabs and crayfish. Unfortunately they didn't and so many were requesting for extra serviettes to wipe their hands. And issue was that some of the food items (e.g. the fresh cut fruits) were refilled quite slowly and by around 1.45pm, they stopped refilling the fresh cut watermelons and pineapples though the buffet would only closed by 2.30pm. Only the whole apples were available. And durian pangat, due to the high demand, also were refilled slowly and each time the chef only took out a number of them and within a short time, they were gone. In terms of value of money, yes, considering the spread and they also have 30% discount for senior citizens aged 60years and above. It was a satisfactory dinning experience and hope they can improve for the better! We wanted to award it 3.5 star but since we cannot give a 0.5 rating and feeling that it needs some improvements to make it to 4, so we decided to give it 3 star for the time being.

Amazing buffet, very hygienic and staff were extremely helpful. You can even do a la Carte. Regardless an amazing experience.

16 Mar. Family Iftar...breaking of fast. A modest spread but its worthwhile! Highly recommended for family/group gathering. Salute to the team in attendance-Desmond, Lee and all. Thank you. -‐-----' 9 Mar. Finally a returned trip. Was one of my frequently visited cafe, before Covid. Nothing changed but kinda disappointed with the spread but its ok. However, one thing that needed improvement is the tele service. Today, called 7 times between 12.18pm to 2.55pm....no one pickup. Hello....whats happening?

It may not have a fantastic spread of choices but you can't get a better bargain for the price you pay. A favorite place for many Muslims as well. Food is really good, spread is decent, price is reasonable, place is family friendly.

For a place that claims to be halal, guests who were given a seat from a company dinner brought in beer to the table where the muslims dine as well. Cups that were used for cold drinks, they poured liquor from Heineken beer bottle and used the shared cups. If this does not revoke their halal license, i dont know what to trust anymore. Keep the bar and dining utensils separate. Very bad reputation.
