Had a birthday dinner here and had a pleasant experience! The decor of the place looks very modern and nice with pretty silverware as well. Could have had wider walking spaces and distance between other tables but small issue! Had the Cherrywood smoked steak and oh my god was the steak cooked to perfection. Cut was very juicy and flavours of the steak, accompanied by nicely done mash and veges, was delicious. Scallops as starters were very nice as well. Doesn’t have a strong fishy taste and generous amount of roe given! Chicken was very tender with the mushrooms inside cooked very well. Staff was nice and kind to accommodate the birthday celebration and provided us with cakes and candles! I can’t wait to try other menus when I’m back!

We didn’t have a reservation but were warmly welcomed nonetheless. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. The Short Ribs was the winner of the night! So tender and delicious. And the Cempedak cake! Will definitely be back for the rest of the menu.

Dinner was oh tres magnifique! All the dishes were a hit!! (Except the noix coconut drink) Salmon and chicken breast cooked to perfection. French onion soup was wiped clean! Pricing abit steep though so i shall reserve this place for a “once in a while treat” occasion. Truffle fries were ok. Overall a great experience. Thank you for the wonderful meal❤️❤️

My family came here for lunch. it was our first time coming here and the service + food truly did not disappoint. We were a group of 3 adults and one baby. The staff was very kind and prepared a baby chair. Despite coming here during lunch hour, service was fast and prompt. Not to mention, the food was great! Honestly, I felt that the service as well as the food served were of a better quality in comparison to another Malay-fusion restaurant that is also quite popular. I'd definitely bring my friends over the next time!

My wife and I decided to try out The White Label for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. Despite not having reservations, we were pleasantly surprised to find available seats without much hassle. The restaurant had a steady stream of guests coming in and out, but it wasn't overly crowded. The staff at The White Label were proactive and friendly, which added to the positive experience. One particular staff member frequently checked in with us to ensure everything was to our liking. Our food arrived promptly, and we ordered the TWL Truffle Fries, French Onion Soup, and Steak Shakshuka. The truffle fries were enjoyable, and the portion size could easily serve four people. While I liked them as they were, my wife felt they could have been fried a bit further. The French Onion Soup had a rich flavor, although I found it slightly on the salty side. The generous layer of cheese on top was a delightful touch. The Steak Shakshuka was decent, but it didn't stand out as exceptionally unique. As for the ambiance, we didn't pay much attention to it, and it didn't significantly impact our experience. However, it was a hot day, and the standing fans provided to lower the temperature helped to some extent. Although we felt a bit uncomfortable, we didn't mention it to the staff and simply managed. Overall, our experience at The White Label was good. The proactive staff, delicious truffle fries, and flavorful French Onion Soup made our visit enjoyable. Thank you for the pleasant dining experience.

Food: Some dishes were made well and some were average. The smoke that came out of the smoke infused lamb rack smelt like burnt paper. Duck confit, lobster bisque and tagliatelle were well done. Cakes were not so good, the cakes were hard, felt like they were kept too long in the fridge. Food Portions were above average. Service: Staff were some what inflexible to make simple decisions themselves. (They had to ask the manager if Less ice no ice can be done for drinks) perhaps they were new. Atmosphere: Cosy place, nice white walls, but some wall mounted displays will be very near your head if you sit near the walls. If allocated a table directly under the air-conditioning will be quite cold. The restaurant has a 2 hr dining policy.

I organised a colleagues gathering at The White Label. Since it was a large number of people, the staff offered a set menu arrangement with a private room. Communication via emails were great and efficient. The staff service on the actual day was amazing and flawless. Very polite service! Food was nice :). I would go back again just for the service and ambience!!

Celebrated my birthday lunch here!! Ordered the lobster bisque soup and it was delicious!! Lobster flavour is powerful in just the right way and the soup is nice and thick. Highly recommend this! For mains, we shared a beef cheek au Levain and truffle salmon spaghetti. The beef cheeks have great flavor and is quite tender. It goes well with the sourdough and is paired with a nice salad. However i found the beef to be abit too chewy for my liking. The salmon spaghetti is disappointing as it is overly cream-y and there was not much truffle taste. The salmon is however well seasoned and not too dry. The service of the staff is wonderful as they were very welcoming and they offered us a complimentary cake for my birthday, which is delicious and i loved it. Thanks for making my birthday lunch better!

Our first time here! The food and ambience is splendid. Only when we arrived at the door, my friend was given 7pm to leave when she told she was waiting for me. Other than the experience at the door, we are impressed by the food and ambience. Ms Anissa , who attended to us was very attentive to our needs, making sure everything was in order. Will definitely come back and introduce our friends to this place.

This is my second time here - great food, service, and ambiance. Had the festive set menu! Couldn’t pinpoint which one was the best item on the menu - clams, bisque, duck confit, and the chocolate banana dessert were all great! Though maybe the beef Wellington was slightly on the saltier side, the rest were all stellar. We also had a pistachio and hazelnut croissant (no pic) and it was decadent!

The white label is a frequent dining choice for my kids.. The food is always delicIous and on point! The deserts never fail to put a smile for my kids, their coconut sorbet is so 💯! Of course they can probably introduce some new items on the menu as we have almost tasted all the dishes! 😊😊

First time coming here for our 14th Anniversary celebration. I'm impress with their service. Upon arrival they already expecting us, immediately being greeted by friendly staff. Nice ambiance with two Storey restaurants. Getting there is easy via MRT, if you drive, parking is a challenge. The food is a satisfying, especially the dessert. I'm surprised some of the menu stated on the website is no longer available upon request, they should update their website. Overall, worth the money, definitely will come again with my kids and friends. Thank you for your hospitality service, thumbs up!

My visit to this place was abrupt! Mid day while I'm actually walking to another place that I had reserved in to have lunch. The facade attracted me as the dessert sat there in the window display looking at me! I returned back from lunch and decided to walk in for dessert to realize that the place has actually a full on menu! Sadly I was already full so I settled for dessert! I have to say that during my visit there were some weird activities going on that as a customer I couldn't help but notice. The owner was "teaching" the staff how to use the register and run the place a bit too loud, a Malay singing in the kitchen that can be easily heard from the table they sat us on. Kitchen staff keep coming out and walking around fetching stuff and dragging their shoes and feet on the floor in a manner I didn't find suited for the place to be honest! The whole restaurant was empty given the time of day we went in yet they sat us on the table nearest to the kitchen where there is a glass panel with small stained walls & cupboards that doesn't look suited to the image of the rest of the restaurant! I would suggest they work on that by staining the glass with some decorative gloss and sound proof that door to let the staff sing all they want without being heard outside! Kitchen staff preferably have a backdoor to exit from should they need anything. Hope my review is taken constructively as I LOVED the dessert and the mocktails and I look forward to returning a second time for a full course.

Tried the revamped fine-dining menu at their new location @ the Sultan Hotel. The restaurant looks posh and compliments the hotel’s architecture. The Risotto Au Poulet was creamy and tasted well with the chicken jus. The lamb rump was a bit dry though. The sweet potato fries were crispy.

Food was amazing. Nadia greeted us extremely well and explained the courses really well. Her recommendations were great. Chef nelson came out to greet us and he was very friendly and humble about his food. I would recommend this place to my peers. 10000/10 1. Seafood pasta 2. Beef short ribs 3. Octopus

Service and atmosphere is great. It’s located at lobby of the sultan hotel (white building), quite easy to miss when walking along the street. Really enjoyed the beef entrecôte, it was fantastically done! Took a star off coz the mackerel has many bones and the chicken is average. Tender but not that tasty. Desserts wise, the neslo cake slice was good, but the gimmicky fruit desserts were so-so. The mango one is pretty but doesn’t taste tt good. Quite expensive. Will rather go to Malayan council nearby. It’s literally empty on a sun afternoon.

Food was delicious and nicely presented. Were disappointed that the High Tea set we came for at 3.30pm was sold out and we had to settle for the ala carte menu which didn't dissapoint. We had the Spanish Octopus Tentacles with Curry Remesco Sauce, Slow cooked Beef Cheeks with Pappardelle, Braised Spaghetti in Laksa Lobster Bisque, TWL Wings and Truffle fries. The place was cosy and nice but our dining experience was somewhat made less pleasant by a big noisy group of fellow diners who were laughing their heads off and made worse by the echoing in the well refurbished colonial shophouse building.

Only managed to take a photo of the mackerel. We ordered burrata (the accompany vinaigrette was great), the artisan bread basket is just a normal one with small pieces of 3 types of bread (can skip). Seafood spaghetti, mackerel (nicely cooked however the sauce doesn’t do much to complement the fish), and steak (fries slightly over cooked). Desserts were sub par compared to the main. Staff was attentive, however one accidentally toppled my water glass over (thankfully it was empty), she lifted it up with one finger in the glass and continued to pour water over. I appreciated that water is served for free though. Hard to find in Singapore’s restaurants.
