The dim sum restaurant left me impressed with its delightful culinary offerings and warm ambiance. The moment I stepped in, the aroma of freshly steamed dumplings enveloped me, promising a delectable experience. The menu featured an array of traditional and innovative dim sum choices, each bursting with authentic flavours and impeccably presented. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring a smooth dining experience. While the restaurant was bustling, the noise level remained pleasant. Overall, the dim sum restaurant delivered a memorable dining affair that will keep me coming back for more.

Staff are friendly, making you feel welcomed! Food is yummy, served hot and fresh! Just note that pictures that I have included are of the food that are half eaten as I could not wait to dig in! Food portion is big and well-worth the money, and most importantly authentic! Staff served the chilli sauce the moment you’re seated so there’s no need to ask for it (unless you want more of course). Duck rice roll is delicious and my favourite out of all of the items. Will definitely be back to try more items.

First time trying halal certified @thedimsumplace! Surprised to find that the taste is legit and really got authentic dim sum feel. The cheong fun was thin and silky, custard buns molten and best of all, everything was served very quickly. They have a 90 minutes dining policy but it’s sufficient time

I guess the original outlet at Nth Bridge Road serves the best dim sum. Did not get the same vibe with The Centrepoint branch. The service was excellent still. Expect more tourists too. When The Dim Sum Place first started at nth bridge road, the portion was generous, price was reasonable and there was no dining time limit applied. As the restaurant grew popularity and due to rising costs, portion reduced and price increased. Nonetheless, still serving the best halal dimsum in Singapore. The crispy rice with seafood superior soup is a must try!

Overall, food was ok and arrived quite quickly after ordering. Orders were accepted by scanning the qr code provided. Prices was acceptable since it was in town area. Service was good - requested additional chilli and it was promptly provided. Out of all the dishes ordered, would recommend the beehoon and vermicelli roll with mushrooms. Avoid the fried chicken with roasted salt as it tasted dry and overly salty.

First time here at The Dim Sum Place. Small but cosy environment where we had our team lunch. With the help of Mr Luis, he made our dining experience pleasant. Definitely will return for siew mai, garlic fried rice, hargow, fried sotong.

Great food 👍 Love the salted egg buns. We ordered that and duck and it came very fast too! The waiters are also friendly and helpful. We like to come here for the buns.

Came here for dinner since the kids had their class nearby. 4 adults and 2 kids. It’s good they have baby seats. Surprised this is a halal restaurant. Food is good actually. And service is also very good, especially from Luis. Will bring our Muslim friends here next time.

The service was very good. Luis is very attentive to our needs. The food came very fast. I ordered the garlic fried rice but it just tasted like truffle to me, which was no really pleasant given that I dislike truffle. But other than that, the food was delicious! Loved the siew mai.

Great dimsum place and with halal certification too. Service was good (Luis) when we stepped in for early lunch. Food presentation was great with lots of garnish for even simple dishes like Congee! Dishes served fast and all taste great!

I ate lunch with the family last Sunday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We actually overordered since everything in the menu looks good. The service was excellent and the staff was very attentive. We especially loved the chicken wanton soup,chicken siew mai, fried chicken with roasted salt & garlic, and the deel fried salted egg yolk prawn. We will definitely come back for more!

Great place to have halal dim sum dinner with family and friends. Portion was ok if you’re not a big eater. First time trying the food at this outlet but it didn’t taste different from the one at Bugis. Easy to locate the restaurant as well.

The Dim Sum Place serves tasty custard buns and duck wings. We had takeaway, and there's no takeaway fee for the packaging. The service is fast and good. Packaging is very nice too. The duck wings is very juicy and tasty. The marinated soy sauce soak totally into the duck wings. The custard buns are very smooth, watery, soft and the custard is hot. It's on the expensive side, though, but worth trying if you like custard buns. Also, the restaurant is fully packed on a weekday evening!

Great halal dim sum! The dim sum was flavorful, especially the lotus leaf rice! The other dishes were not too bad too. Service was ok. Overall a great and chill place to hang for a quick dinner before shopping!

Saw this highly-rated restaurant was near us so we decided to try it. True enough, food was delicious! Especially loved the garlic fried rice. Lovely service too c/o Rasheeda and the rest of the staff. Would definitely dine here again when around!

I had an exceptional lunch experience at the dim sum place in Orchard, all thanks to the outstanding service provided by Mr. Luis and his dedicated service crew. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Luis and his team warmly welcomed us and ensured that every aspect of our lunch experience was top-notch. Their knowledge of the menu and attentive service truly enhanced our visit. They recommended the most delectable dim sum dishes and went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was nothing short of delightful. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Uncle Luis and the service crew for their exceptional hospitality. Thanks to their efforts, I look forward to visiting again soon.

Food is overall OK, there is no bad dish. Fried rice is aromatic but could do with less oil. Least impressive is the chicken dish, taste is very average and on the saltier side. Customer service can be further improved- hard to get the stuff’s attention as all of them are not looking at customers.

1st time having my dinner here n I feel great n will come back again. The staffs were friendly n helpful...but one thing I just wanna complain is that the air-conditioning ain't cool enough. I hope the next visit I can eat comfortable with much cooler environment....👍👍😋❤️

Recommended by my family. The menu has enough variation with interesting options. My family has great taste in food and it was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🥰 Also, the hospitality is top of the notch! Great, friendly, and helpful on explaining the menu description. (Especially Mr. Zul & Mr. Luis👍🏻)

As a Chinese Muslim revert who have eaten non halal dim sum, this place serves dim sum close to what I am used to. Must order xo carrot cake, fried bee hoon, and chicken xiao long bao. The seafood pao fan is also nice (though the broth is not as full of umami as the non halal ones).
