Very friendly staff, has English and Chinese versions of menu, provided a relaxed dining experience. The food is pretty decent considering it’s located in a major shopping mall, obviously not the most authentic Indian food flavor as it’s dialed down for Japanese taste, but still tasted quite nice, Naan is quite on point.

The food was super delicious! Fast service. We use a tablet to look through the menu and decide for ourselves. Great detail and tourist friendly. Highly recommend.

I visited on a friday night with a group of 5 friends. We called 20 minutes in advance to confirm a table as it was the Sapporo winter festival week. The place is big and has many seating available. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was really nice. You have to order through the tablet at the table. We started receiving our food after about 12 minutes from ordering. The price here is comparatively high compared to other restaurants and the portion sizes were also relatively small for the price. You do have the option to select larger portions, but at a much higher price. The food was really tasty and everybody liked it. But everyone said they were still hungry afterwards.

Nice quick lunch - tasty food and great value. Coming from Scotland it’s nice to have a good quality Indian curry that convinces.

Visited Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant at Sapporo Factory Mall for lunch. The food was just okay , nothing amazing, and definitely on the pricier side. Coming from an Indian background, I was really craving authentic Indian food after 8 days in Japan, but this didn’t hit the mark. The dishes felt tweaked to suit Japanese taste preferences, which might explain why the flavours didn’t satisfy my Indian taste buds. I even convinced my family (who don’t usually enjoy Indian food) to join me, but overall it was a bit disappointing. Hoping for a more authentic experience next time.
