Visit Sumac regularly coz of kids badminton class at the club. Food is nice and portions are decent. If you have young kids tho, be sure to check w them which dishes are spicy as my kid chose the crabmeat rice and it turned out spicy and he couldn’t stomach it.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon at 530pm for an early dinner with my wife. They seated us immediately at a table for 2, not the best of locations despite the restaurant still being empty (I understand that there were reservations made here for a later timing). Ordered the mussels and lump crab as a starter. To be honest, the spice kick was there, the mantou (bread) that was served were crispy and warm, but the "chilli crab" sauce was lacking a depth of flavour other than spiciness. Portion was huge though. I give it a 6-7/10. My wife got the Aleppo Pesto with Shish Tawouk (chicken kebab). The pesto flavour was alright, mild. Would be suitable for most taste buds. The Shish Tawouk, could be a little bit more flavourful for a kebab, it was missing some spices. For 24.90, it yearns a little bit more, 7/10 I got the frenched rack of lamb, served with a bed of mashed sweet potato and grilled carrots. The lamb was done perfectly (we requested for medium). Priced well for the portion at 39.90. 8/10, I prefer a little more char to the meat. We couldn't finish the order a day hence decided to end off the meal with the lavender creme brulee. I mean it was decadant. Hard to go wrong with a beautiful dessert like that. Would I come back here again, perhaps. Place is definitely suitable for families to enjoy and celebrate wins.

One of the 'Wow' places we gone to in Singapore. Lets dive in! Food: Portion was bigger than what we expected. Taste was yummmmmmyyyyyy and everything about the food screams wow. We really enjoyed all that we had ordered and would love to come back again for other dishes. Service: Staff was very attentive. Maybe due to the timing, there wasnt many around, thus the attention. Smiles was observed and recommendations was also shared by the person waiting on us. Atmosphere: Located among the luscious greens, we were glad we came by here actually. Place was easily accessible from the carpark via the lift, thus hard to get lost here. We really felt the nature revolving around us and we enjoyed the sights and smell.. refreshing!! All in all, a great place for a date to impress or gathering with love ones... Cheers!

Had a family lunch there. The food is quite good. However despite the restaurant being relatively empty at 12pm, it was difficult to get the attention of the staff to make order. Each staff seemed busy in their own world and their faces are not welcoming or friendly. Is this a happy restaurant?

Ultimately the best fancy halal food in the West. The food is superb, diverse, slightly pricey but very generous portions. Something nice is that even though it’s fusion, there’s still a lot of familiar flavors like nasi goreng briyani etc, so you can bring your parents that may not be too adventurous. The ambience is fancy, tall ceilings, great view. The starters are huge, every rice option is good, every burger option is good, and I’ve tried the grills multiple times over. Everytime I come, the staff are very friendly, especially Anil (hope I got your name right) who serves with a smile and great service all the time. Get the hummus with pita bread, crab meat fried rice, nasi goreng ayam, and teh tarik! The ice-cream is also soooooo nice. 10/10 great special occasion place, bring your family, friends, or date!
