Chanced upon this shop selling Nasi Padang near City Square mall last week while i was running some errands there. Took a closer look at their name and realised that their flagship shop is at Yishun which i have previously have tried and think that their food was not bad. Reached the place slightly just pass 12pm and noticed the long queue as I was approaching. Majority of the seats were taken, I was glad that after purchasing my food, a table was available and I immediately went over. Select 4 dishes, bergedil, sabal goreng, stir-fried long bean and the bbq chicken. Paid SGD$10 plus which also including a can drink. Food was as tasty as the flagship stall. Overall, quite a good experience and would recommend. Price wise, i would say slightly on the high side.

I went there for the first time recently and loved the ambiance. Plenty of space available. This is a Malay rice and Curry place with several curries to choose from. I expected to have some breakfast snacks yet they had only Sardine Curry puffs and Jemput. I tried banana Jemput for the first time and it felt exactly like Ka-wu-m (oil cake) කැවුම් in Sri Lanka and loved it. A very calm place to have a chat while having tea/coffee not far from Mustafa center.

Good flavours but the food is just too cold. I think they should refry or heat up the Tahu Telur before serving, which many other places does. I would choose Sari Ratu over this place for the food. For the environment, COBA is way more comfortable.

Nasi Padang dishes tastes more flavorful compared to others I have tried. But price is on the slightly higher side as compared to quantity. Still Worth a try. Just realized their tray-return tray is position outside that is a bit inconvenience.

Had a nice treat from a friend 😀. I recommend the ayam tauchio hijau, ayam bakar and tauhu telor as they are delicious. Ayam hijau in particular was creamy and piquant. However, the beef rendang which is the standard benchmark for any nasi padang place turned out to be kinda tough and chewy with cartilage, and a lackluster rempah that didn't marinate thoroughly. It is the same in the Yishun outlet so just for noting. The eatery is set in a laidback neighbourhood away from the main road which makes it feel like a quiet corner of Malaysia. Good feels about the whole place! Did not get to eat botok botok so now have to trek to Yishun to try.

Great place for Nasi Padang , easy to find parking. Came after lunch so I guess most of the items were sold out. Would definitely come again

The food is nice. Not spicy ,ok- ok but, quite expensive. And. The gravies not hot ( cold ) cos there no hot water below it to make it warm. Sorry. Even the rice also. But i still enjoy the food and finnish up. That my style.

Ordered a nasi ambeng take away set for 2 paxs at $29.90, but need to pay extra $3 for the take away box. Pretty worth it as the set is more than enough to feed 4 paxs. One of my favourite place for Indonesian food.

The rice of nasi lemak is fragrant with nice coconut taste (verdict: 7/10). Nasi padang comes with fish + goreng + kangkong at $7+. The fish is flavorful, goreng has sweet & spicy taste. (Verdict: 8/10). Ice kopi is strong, ice milo is thick. Definitely will come back again to try other dishes.

Tried nasi lemak. Nice. The rice is fragrant and nice coated with coconut. Too bad that they don't serve desserts. It will be better as it will be a perfect complete meals

Servers are really friendly and food is amazing. Love the choice of 3 types of chilli sauces. Price is reasonable as well. Premise is well ventilated and clean.

Visited a while back on a Sunday. Food was nice with a great variety to choose from. However, if you’re very hungry, might need two portions. Or probably I damn hungry sia that day.

Best best best. Love it!! Rice is so flavourful, portions are good, curry is legendary, variety is also amazing. I have eaten maybe 3-4 times already and every single time it's just so good and yummy. Service also good, everyone so friendly too!

A charming nasi padang place in an equally charming neighborhood, complete with a handsome silkie chook freely roaming the premises. I chanced upon this place while exploring the area seeking breakfast and it felt like i was transported back to old kampung days. A good thing about coming early is that the curries and padang dishes are all piping hot. The food was all right, not very spicy (might not appease hardcore sambal lovers) - was happy to find sayur manis lemak here. What i loved best was the laid back vibe, and the friendly staff who served up the warm nosh with warm smiles. Refreshingly un-Singaporeanesque.

Food was quite alright - I ordered the Nasi Lemak Set B and it tasted just fine, but coffee was a little lacklustre. The staff was quite friendly but it's mostly the decor and atmosphere that hooked me up. Nestled in a shophouse opposite SINDA, the view of the trees and street brings me back to my childhood in the 80s, something which vintage decor alone cannot provide. I'd also appreciate the ample parking spaces available and quiet neighborhood. It wouldn't be the same if they weren't nestled here.

The coffee shop, decor, location, car park and even a resident chicken makes this place a great idea.. but it's more than a great idea now that I've tried it (maybe I was hungry and enjoyed the food a tad more). I think their dishes are not very spicy which is a nice change (from all the mala).. they were nicely executed, taste, texture and all. And by today's standard, $12.50 for this is not exorbitant (compared to some nasi padang at Geylang Serai).

This place are a gem. Hide from the main road, it's easy miss by passers-by. The foods are excellent, I gave a 4 stars because the hot drinks is not hot enough, It just take 5 minutes it turns cold. The curry are so good with many choices of dishes to choose from. Must go early as their opening hours are 8am to 3pm. Late will be less dishes to choose from. Prices are reasonable but not cheap. There are a big carpark next to the shop. 2 sides open ventilation are fantastic with good view and the furniture are very comfortable and quite new. I will be back soon. Now at a live chicken roaming the shop 2023 Nov.

Pssstttt… I found a gem just past Ferrer Park & the back streets of Jln Besar. Tried their mixed Malay rice with variety of vegs & Mee Rebus. The Mee Rebus was nutty smooth and creamy, mixed together with their sambal, mmmmmm mmm, YUMzest! My favourite Mee Rebus is those prepped by the wonderful Malay-Indians in Malaysia with crackers & potato dipped in spicier, nuttier curry. Am yet to find this in Singapore and if you know of where I can find, do reach out to me! Their kopi is just average, not very strong. This COBA2 joint along Beatty Rd is a nice hidden gem for all to try! Do say hi to their cute white resident chicken!

I like the quiet area of Beatty Road. This outlet is patronized by local Chinese while Yishun outlet is patronized by mainly Malay. It serves halal Indonesian food. Food wise is quite similar but the service is not as friendly as the Yishun outlet. My meal costs me $8.40 which is not expensive for a non-aircon restaurant.

Discovered this corner on a night walk and was back to give it a try. Nice decor in the shop, along with a resident fowl. Could have asked for more rice for my Nasi Padang, especially to go with the Mutton Rendang

A very kampung feel, simple and clean line decor, ayam kampung may crow at times, off the main road and feeling of nostalgia and tranquility. Foodwise consistently excellent with lots of dishes plus desseets like lopis. I ordered tehsi kosong and nasi ambeng with cuttle fish, tapioca leaves and omelette with lots of gravy and sambel chilli. Totally delicious meal at $10.90. Been here a few times and always happy with the food and drinks.
