Absolutely my favourite briyani in the area. Well marinated chicken thigh (masala) with a wonderful fluffy rice. I also had sardine (chilli) and shared some Indian rojak. Can’t rate this place high enough. If you are in the area and crave for briyani Saffrons is recommended!

I've always preferred this outlet. Far compared to the one in Tampines. Clean, fast and friendly staffs. And its quieter. My 2nd choice for Briyani. Food: 8/10 Cost: 8/10 Place: 8/10

Had mutton briyani ($9.00) for lunch on 08/12/22, quite good.

Very good briyani and prata. Clean and good quality food + drink. Always on the lookout for good briyani and we were so pleased to find this place. A little out of the way and parking may not be easy, but we will come again!

Really good tasting food. On the expensive side but quality was there when I visited.

Should try there biriyani. Chicken/ Mutton biriyani would coust around 9 SGD. Good portion. Place is clean. And it gets bit crowded around lunch time. personal opinion: prices could be a bit lower.

A popular place for Prata and Briyani. It also has Indian Rojak and Thosai. The teh tarik and coffee are excellent 👌

Chanced upon this prata place while waiting for my pet. Lovely prata in a peaceful landed estate on a quiet morning, what a great way to start the week 😌 What made this place so much better — was the service. I was dining alone so no bodies to guard my food while I went to the counter briefly for a tissue and lo behold, birds attacked my food. Thought I was done for breakfast there and then until a kind staff reassured me and brought me a new set of my order 🥹🥹🥹

Like this place better than the one in tampines, food was served fast and no need to queue up. Had no problems arriving here as it was near a main road so I took a bus here from jewel. The nasi briyani was nice! Not dry at all. The shop is sourrounded by landed proterty and is very quiet which is good. Also the one in tampines is too noisy

Tucked away from the main road, it's a tru gem, thou not a secret from the residents around. Saffron's offers catering services too. A clear representative of good Indian cuisine. Warning to all - their portions are huge, definitely till yr hearts content.

Masala Thosai and Maggi Goreng is good. Not exceptional. The ice teh halia is terrible 🥲, taste like milk in water.. Not sweet and no teh halia taste 🥲 Sad. Ice horlick is ok.

I used to love the food at Saffron’s Swan Lake Ave. Especially the Briani and Mee Goreng. But since last week, they have quickly deteriorated so much, I have to stop patronising them. The mee goreng I bought last week was not fully cooked and totally missing vegetables especially potatoes. Today I decided to give them another chance. It was terrible! Instead of mee goreng, they prepared Maggie Mee Goreng and again missing the potatoes. That’s it from me, Saffron.

A nice and cozy ambience nestled at Opera Estate. The Briyani was excellent and the Teh Tarik compliments well.

My whole family was a saffron's briyani lover.. I travel from the west to the east just to have the briyani but now the standard really dropped way out.. First, the order takers at the counter couldn't understand English & got easily irritated.. Most Importantly, the food wasn't hot at all.. when asked the staff, he set they forgot to on the stove for the warmer set.. The rice, curry & the chicken wasnt hot. Best part of it is we went at around 1pm which is lunch time.. So disappointing!

I ordered Masala Thosai and Teh Tarik for take-away. I opted for just fish curry instead of the three types of accompaniments as I do not really fancy the taste. As I walked off, I checked and realised that staff had kindly packed fish curry on top of all the gravy for me. I did not have the heart to tell him that I do not like them. Nonetheless, it was a nice gesture. Serving is huge. There was a generous serving of potato. I shared it with my colleague and fortunately, with the extras, I could pass her the accompaniments while keeping the fish curry for myself. I ordered prata before and noticed that the fish curry was not hot. Not the usual kind of heated curry that one would expect dining at a prata place. This time round, the curry was also not even lukewarm.
