Worst soba you can find in Tokyo. A soba restaurant but the soba tastes worse than a konbini bought soba - soba looked and tasted like it was cooked over 3 hours ago and left out to dry. This is the first Japanese restaurant that cannot make a simple tamagoyaki, maybe don’t leave out the mirin and learn to roll it properly. The rice was COLD when the meal was served, would be good to teach your staff to have common sense to only scoop the rice right before serving. We waited over half an hour to be seated even though there were 3 empty tables. Food took too long to be served. The staff can barely be found so we thought they were understaffed, but there were 5 staff in the kitchen (only one who seemed busy was the only Japanese/Japanese-looking chef). Cups provided for tea were dirty, it would be wise to check and clean them before using them. Only thing redeemable about this restaurant is the tempura.

The soba was good, and the ambiance was nice. Many office workers were eating here, which made the place feel very authentic. It has a traditional Japanese-style atmosphere that makes the dining experience good. The soba tea is good.

I visited Sojibo (信州そば処 そじ坊) in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, located on the 6th floor of this popular shopping mall in Odaiba, Tokyo. It's a great spot for authentic Japanese soba noodles, and it's especially tourist-friendly as it's a Halal-certified restaurant, meaning Muslim visitors can enjoy the menu without worry. The entire menu is available in English, simplified Chinese, and Korean, which makes it easy for international guests to order. There's also allergy information listed, and the place is wheelchair accessible with table service. To use the restaurant: It's open daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM (last order at 9:00 PM). You can walk in without a reservation, though it might get busy during peak times like lunch or dinner, especially with the mall's crowds. Once seated, a server will bring you the menu. Ordering is straightforward – point to items if needed, or use the multilingual menu. Payment is at the table after your meal; they accept cash, credit cards, and likely mobile payments like PayPay or IC cards (common in Japan). No tipping required! I tried the "Negi Mizore Soba" (ねぎみぞれそば), a refreshing cold soba noodle dish topped with plenty of green onions (negi) and grated daikon radish (mizore) in a light miso-based broth. It was priced around ¥990 (tax included), and it came with fresh, handmade soba noodles that had a nice chewy texture. You get to grate your own fresh wasabi on the side, which adds a fun interactive element and enhances the flavor. The portion was satisfying, not too heavy, perfect for a quick meal after shopping or sightseeing. The broth was savory and not overly salty, with the negi adding a fresh crunch – highly recommend it for a light, healthy option! Tips for foreign tourists: DiverCity is easy to reach via Yurikamome Line (Daiba Station, about 3-5 min walk) or Rinkai Line (Tokyo Teleport Station). The mall has free Wi-Fi, and Sojibo is near other attractions like the Gundam statue outside. If you're vegetarian or have dietary needs, ask about options since it's Halal and has clear allergen labels. Overall, a welcoming place for a taste of traditional Japanese soba in a modern setting – 4/5 stars!

The food variety are wide, we order combo menu with both rice and noodle. The taste is quite good. The service was fast, after checking the menus, we directly order through the phone, the food come quickly, helpful staff, multiple payment option available. The restaurant located inside the mall, easy to park, easy to find, great Japanese traditional ambience.
