Didn't expect to find a food gem in such a touristy area! $15 cheesewheel pasta is hard to get anywhere else and the truffle taste is super strong, so it's really enjoyable. Lasagna is not bad too, but there's only bits and pieces of minced beef. So mostly you're just eating flour and cheese 😅

Super delicious pasta and lasagna at this Italian place @ Makan Sutra. Totally unexpected to come across such good, authentic and affordable Italian food place in this touristy food court lol. The staff was very friendly and the food was done very quickly 👌Highly recommend!! 💯💯

Hand stretched thin crust pizza base with generous amount of cheese and toppings. They home cooked the tomato paste/sauce for their pastas. Big portion of Truffle fries for only $7.

Ordered takeaway here, food overall is very decently priced and bang for the buck. Would suggest that people order a few dishes to share as the dishes can be quite strong tasting and gelat after a while 1. Cheese wheel pasta: at only 15 bucks, the cheese wheel was well worth the money. Unfortunately the Bechmal sauce was something that I didn't fully enjoy. But more of a personal preference 2. Beef lasagna: really tasty and super value for money.

Halal-Italian food with reasonable price. Taste was way below my expectation. Pasta was undercooked and pizza was just ok. Nice atmosphere.

Came here on a Sunday evening after looking high and low within Singapore for a more affordable Cheese Wheel Pasta. It's also Halal, which is great for Muslim customers. 😊 Location is within Makansutra Gluttons Bay as a stall, and ventilation is good since its open air. (Unless its rains, I'm not sure if there is shelter) 🍝 Cheese Wheel Pasta ($16) We added +$4 for Turkey Bacon, which was a great choice as the meatiness and bacon fat gave the pasta a lot more depth in flavours. The aged cheese wheel has a slight tangy scent, which coats the tagliatelle pasta and shiitake mushroom. The dollop of black truffle paste was really the cherry on top for this dish. It's earthy and musky, but not overly pungent that covers the star of this dish. Overall, a really good experience for my 1st Cheese wheel pasta and portion size is alright. I rate: 5/5 🌟 🫓 Calzone ($18) It's like a massive folded pizza if I were to put it in simpler terms. The dough is leaning towards the chewy pizza dough and relatively thin. Fillings were warm and generous as well. Closing seams for this are folded so it has the thickness of breadsticks. A red marinara sauce is given at the side to pair. I'm not sure if it's meant to be so watery and cold. Pretty fun dish to try, but I would rather pay for a pizza. I rate: 3/5 🌟 🍘 Chicken Arancini ($8) Tomato rice balls stuffed with cheese and deep fried if i were to put in. It has a small saucer of marinara sauce on the side as well. I'm not sure where the chicken is in this because I didn't taste or bite into any of that... 3 pieces are placed on arugula leaves and garnished with cheese powder. Crunchy on the outside, but soft and warm on the inside. It goes really well with the herby arugula leaves. I rate: 3/5 🌟

The carbonara pasta were the most okay one in Asia so far but since it’s halal it’s not the real recipe with guanciale. On the other hand it was some real Parmesan so that’s a plus. The portion could have been more generous considering the price which is not exactly food court price. But also it’s marina bay sands so I don’t think you can get much better for the area. Overall it was quite good.

Always wanted to try their pizza 🍕 and finally! 🍕: We ordered the tomato 🍅 sauce base and add roquette and cherry tomatoes, it’s really good! The pizza base is thin and the texture is terrific! Love ❤️ it, highly highly recommended! The beef we ordered was medium but I think medium rare would be better. The side salad tasted really Italian. We definitely will come back and try the other flavor of pizzas!

Did not live up to the hype. The cheese wheel pasta had a weird aftertaste and texture. Chicken pesto was quite tasty though. We had to wait for more than half an hour - it was 7pm on a Friday. Bill came up to $38 for two pastas (we added meatballs in the cheese pasta).

Ordered Steak Tagiliata (medium well), the steak definitely overcooked, steak wasn’t fresh, taste like being cooked for a while and it was reheated several times to be served, the price isn’t cheap at all, for $20 paid you can get a better quality steak in Saizeriya. When we asked the shop, why it looks so different from the signboard display, their response is the photo is just for illustration. Well. Just a disgrace where this place is one of the tourist spot but food and services are just substandard.

Delicious authentic italian dishes, enjoyed the food thoroughly! Ideally located next to The Esplanade, within Glutton’s bay by Makansutra food court, a unique collection of local and asian food stalls.

This restaurant’s steak was disappointingly small and lacked flavor. It looked much smaller in person compared to the images and earlier reviews on Google. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a full picture before it was already sliced by the staff when served. The image I have shows what remains after I took one slice. The entire steak was smaller than the palm of my hand. Considering its quality and size, it was overpriced. The Clazon is larger than what I imagined. It's good.
