Saffron, a charming restaurant on Aberdeen Street in Central, offers a delightful menu featuring grilled chicken beef and lamb. The sides are plentiful and fresh, complementing the perfectly cooked main courses. Beyond the food, I appreciated the clean atmosphere, low volume and generous, inviting staff. I highly recommend Saffron and if you haven’t visited it you definitely should. Oh..the desserts are some of the best I’ve had. Enjoy!

Had some amazing fragrant saffron basmati rice which complemented the perfectly cooked lamb and chicken. Bread is soft and yeasty in a good way. Garlic sauce is a standout. The staff were so attentive in this quaint cozy hole in the wall. Definitely worth climbing up the stairs for 😁.

Having been to Iran a long time ago, I missed Persian cuisine, which I can find an authentic version of it here. Tried their mutton stew Ghormeh Sabzi which was delicious and unique, the eggplant and tomato “dip” Mirza Ghasemi which was yummy and finished with an heavenly saffron ice-cream Bastani and Persian black tea. Satisfying! Will be back for the grill which looked as delicious as it was authentic.

Very cozy restaurant, and very delicious food. During our meal, lots of takeaways were served. We ordered grilled eggplant yogurt dipping, grilled beef and chicken fillets with pita bread and chicken stew with saffron rice. The meat is perfectly marinated and cooked. The dipping is my favorite. We definitely will come again.

Very fresh and flavourful food! The kebab plate was especially delicious, and the basil and garlic sauce that went with the meats are the highlight. The staff is also helpful and polite. 🤭 Great place for gathering with family and friends.
