Carol at Ratu Lemper makes the most delicious kueh! Every piece is so fresh, tasty, and made with so much care. I honestly never get tired of eating them. they’re the kind of kueh you crave again and again! Carol is also so lovely and passionate about what she does. If you haven’t tried her kueh yet, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommended! ❤️

Freshly made to order, the delectable dishes are worth a try. The moderate spicy level is actually quite spicy ! Not a dine-in.

was expecting more fragrant lemper. feel that the taste is quite one dimensional, just spicy. had the spicy chicken and although the chicken is spicy, it's lacking in flavour and herbs that I had back in Indo. although the rice texture is nice and chewy, it also lacks the fragrance from the banana leaves. size is also quite small for the price. pretty decent but was expecting more. nice air con shop with lots of different kuehs to try next time

Saw many good reviews thought will be good but very disappointed. Had tried the rainbow lapis, the green top with white glutinous rice at the bottom and Lemper Ayam. The 1st two taste so-so like those factory make, not flavorful. Lemper ayam is still acceptable.

Delicious lemper and Indonesian / Peranakan Kueh. The lemper - a glutinous rice “sandwich” with a middle layer of finely shredded spiced meat - and colourful local cakes are beautifully displayed in a bright, Scandi-inspired setting. The items are all made daily and when they sell out, they sell out. It’s advisable to get in early, before lunch definitely, to get the best selections. I popped in about 1.20-ish pm on a weekday and the shelves were almost empty! The popular Ondeh-ondeh was gone, and there was 1 pack of chicken lemper, and 1-2 packs of the other Kueh. A pack of 3 pieces of lemper is around $7 while 3 pieces of Kueh is around $3.50 and up. If you want your Kueh but also want to explore the area, you can - as I did - choose and pay for your selections and the lovely lady will hold them in air-conditioned comfort to keep them fresh, while you set forth for a sweaty exploration of the area. Win-win!
