Had lunch over there. Not too crowded, plenty of seats available. There are lots of local foods and different cuisines available. Portions are quite large and comes with nice presentation. Waiting time is really low, maybe due to less crowd. Staff is nice. Giving four stars due to the cushion seats are really dirty.

Tried the City Square mall outlet of streets Cafe. It being Halal gives an option to muslims to try Dumplings, Siew Mai and other Hong Kong/Chinese food. Ambience was good although not as good as in Tampines outlet. We were seated quite quickly and our seats were facing children's playground outside keeping us busy and entertained all the time. We ordered steamed Siew Mai, sweet n sour fish set, Xo fried rice with petai and chicken baked rice. Food arrived quite quickly and all three dishes were really good. Siew Mai was also pretty smooth and juicy. Portions were generous enough. Food was served piping 🔥. Including water meal for 3 costed us SGD 54.38. Not bad for a hearty meal.

Yummy local delights with a twist that’s affordable in a restaurant setting. The staff are attentive and polite. Food is serviced very quickly and it’s easy to order through e-menu that’s accessible by simply scanning a QR code.

Had dinner with my friends. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Got promotion also when we visited, this way can help us to just choose the foods easily. Picked the promo one, you got both meals and drinks with very reasonable price. Service was awesome and excellent. Will be back definitely!

We order the Malaysian carrot cake, French toast with condensed milk and salted egg yolk fried bumpkin, all 3 dishes are supposed to be the chef recommended. But it turn out the fried bumpkin is soft and soggy and the carrot cake taste is blend, and the French toast look and taste is different from last time. Standard drop drastically, hope they will pick themselves up and get back to the standard last time. Service crew however is nice and accommodating to accept critic and change out the bumpkin fries.

Wait to b seated. Place order via QR Code. However d menu didn't load properly on my phone. Gestures to wait staff to bring me a hardcopy menu n they gladly took my order manually. 5* service for their fast-acting n patience. French toast with beef balls is v unique. Presentation is good n savoury French toast tastes v good 👍🏼 my only complaint is, d gravy is salty. Lemongrass drink is not-too-sweet but rather thin. Presentation for d drink is meh. Gula melaka dessert is unique! Glutinous rice kueh is tasteless. Have to eat together with d ice cream n gula melaka. Will definitely come back for these dishes. n to enjoy d service again!

Nice food, not all, but nice enough to garner 3 of my food stars. That day, the chicken had a gamey taste (Kung Pao chicken spaghetti). The satay was ok since it was frozen supplied. The nice thing was a big housefly suddenly flew onto the sweet and sour fish and we exclaimed quite loudly. The manageress came over and immediately offered to change a brand new dish for us. We thought it was delightful gesture and great customer service. We hope visit again soon. Damage was $40+. Cashback discount could be applied too 4%.

I went in for an early Lunch today about 12.15pm as I saw it and remembered going there with a friend several years ago. I like this City Square Mall location. The staff member who greeted me was pleasant and seated me at a nice table near the windows. I didn’t have a phone to do the QR code so she brought me over a menu. I ordered the Macau chicken chop and fried rice, and a Sprite. The decor and decoration was attractive, it was very clean and the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, not crowded or noisy. It was a pleasant relaxed atmosphere which I liked. The meal and drink arrive promptly. Quite a good size portion of well-cooked chicken and a mound of rice. Not a massive size meal but adequate. Not many vegetables in the fried rice and overall I found the taste of it all a bit too sweet. But I was hungry and ate it all. I find all Singapore cafes and restaurants expensive and thought maybe this was a bit over-priced at a total of $18.65 (AU$21.15). The staff and atmosphere made this a pleasant lunch experience.
