Wonderful Indonesian food. We had lamb fried rice, beef pendant, chicken satays, crispy chicken skin and oxtail soup. Everyone was delicious. The atmosphere is so nice, it is spacious with jazz music to help you relax and enjoy the beautiful. Food which comes fast. Thank you Paris Java❤️

Saw this restaurant at a quiet corner. It is nicely designed with modern twist. Decided to give it a try. Saw the menu Baso Yamien Asin had a rich soup base. When it arrived, the soup looks exactly like the picture shown. The soup surprises me, it was rich, thick and flavourful. It’s unlike other baso soup when you only taste MSG. The beef meat ball is not the common floury texture. It meaty and full. The mee pok noodles are super nice and can complete with some famous Chinese restaurant standards. It goes so well with the chilli. There are many Indonesia restaurant in this building. They have something special here. Will definitely come back to try other menu. Highly recommended.

after reading many good reviews about this place, I was very eager to try it out for myself. ordered the beef rendang with rice, but sadly it missed the rich and flavourful taste that Indonesian rendang is well known for. was rather disappointed that the rendang fell flat and did not taste as good as I had hoped, considering beef rendang is one of the main specialties in Indonesian food. atmosphere was nice and cozy, with service staff being friendly and attentive. would not mind giving this place a try again but I really hope that the rendang can be improved

Paris Van Java at Lucky Plaza presents a modern Indonesian dining option in Orchard Road, assessed against authentic benchmarks of spice, flavour and portion size. The review highlights dishes like sweet-savoury baso yamien and lighter nasi goreng with generous protein, noting balanced flavours over heaviness. Suitable for shoppers nearby seeking approachable Indonesian fare, though minor issues with plating and egg doneness are noted.
