Would recommend the mochi waffle. The ice cream and sparkling drink is quite meh. Member is free. Some apps have 1-1 waffles.

Trying pistachio ice cream all over town. Not over sweet, can taste the nuttiness, texture is smooth and rich. Only downside is they charge extra $2 because it’s “premium”. If you order two scoops, it comes in the tub and a baby spoon. Not the easiest way to eat.

Stepping into Overscoop is less like entering a dessert parlour and more like a retreat into a sprawling urban oasis. In a city where space is the ultimate luxury, the sheer scale of this venue is a revelation—a "ma" or negative space that invites a physiological reset the moment you cross the threshold. The aesthetic is a masterclass in "modern-zen" maximalism. To your left, a cascading tapestry of peonies and roses provides a vibrant, floral anchor to the room, while above, whimsical, greenery-filled glass orbs cast a warm, honeyed glow across the sleek, marble-topped tables. The seating, with its tactile rattan backs and plush, pebble-like banquettes, encourages one to linger far longer than a standard scoop would dictate. The service deserves its own commendation; the staff navigate the space with a quiet, anticipatory "omotenashi" grace—polite, efficient, and welcoming without being intrusive. As for the main event, the Matcha Float is an exercise in technical excellence. The matcha itself possesses a robust, umami-rich profile—evidently sourced with a discerning eye for quality. It strikes that elusive, sophisticated balance between earthy bitterness and a clean, grassy finish. The topper—a velvety, lipid-rich soft serve—melts into the vibrant green tea, creating a "matchagato" effect that is truly indulgent. While the beverage is served with a substantial thermal core of ice to ensure a refreshing chill amidst our tropical climate, the flavour remains uncompromised and intense until the very last sip. For those seeking a tranquil haven to recharge their spirits and their palates, this is an essential destination. It is a rare "third place" that honours the craft of Japanese tea culture while providing a modern, Instagram-worthy backdrop for connection.
