Such a nice pan-Asian place that serves a lot of Asian dishes. We went there as a group, and we did not need to book before hand as we arrived London. We wanted to eat and this place was close by to where we arrived. We tried different options, all of which were really good. We enjoyed the food; and the service was very friendly and welcoming. The place invites a lot of people and it is spacious. For me, I ordered the very spicy tofu with Sichuan pepper. For me, I like spicy food, but I like it tasteful, and Sichuan just numbs the lips which kind of blocks the taste so that I did not enjoy much.

Me and my friends all had the same dish, Teriyaki salmon. It was the most mediocre lunch imaginable. First of all, the salmon was too thin and consequently, cooked too dry. Fried egg was a solid fried egg. Salad was just plain boring salad with no sauce no nothing! So unimaginable. Rice was all right, as would be expected. But nothing about the dish is worth the price. It’s the most basic thing anyone could make home. But other than the food, the service left a bad taste. They automatically add a service surcharge but try to hide it by not providing a breakdown of the bill, unless asked. And when asking to remove the DISCRETIONARY fee, they got all sassy and made us feel like we’re the ones doing something wrong. 😤 No, it’s the restaurant with bad, boring food that they need to try to scam people because they can’t compete with actually good food and service. 😑 In the end they removed it, but then vouched us to write a positive Google review. Thats not how it goes. Customers are free to write a truthful review, be it a bad or a good experience. And ours was definitely a bad one. Clearly they are not interested in what matters, which would be great food and service. So I’d recommend to stay away from them.

We had a fantastic experience at Niu Ko! It was our first time trying Malaysian food, and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. The flavors were amazing, and every dish we tried was excellent. We also enjoyed the drinks: the lychee juice and the mango juice were both refreshing and very tasty. They paired perfectly with the meal. The restaurant is in a great location, just next to Gloucester Road Underground Station, which makes it very convenient to visit 🤌🏽 We highly recommend Niu Ko to anyone looking to try authentic Malaysian cuisine. We will definitely be coming back! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Recently I visited NIU KO Restaurant and honestly, if you’re into Malaysian comfort food, this spot is definitely worth checking out. The flavours felt really authentic rich, spicy, and full of that proper homemade taste. From the sizzling mains to the perfectly balanced sauces, every dish had its own personality. The portion sizes were generous, the presentation looked amazing, and the atmosphere was cozy with a nice casual vibe. Perfect place for a chill lunch or dinner in London when you’re craving something different from the usual. Definitely a hidden gem for Malaysian food lovers.

I had a lovely tastes experience at their restaurant. If you like Pan Asian food, you must give it a try! I tried crispy shredded beef, tofu salad, handmade spicy chicken roll, truffle prawn rice and beef black pepper. All of them were delicious. I will highly recommend :)
