I recently visited a Thai restaurant in Jingan, New Taipei, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The food was genuinely delicious and worth highlighting. I ordered shrimp tempura, which was crispy and flavorful, along with a spicy and sour chicken dish and seafood salad that had a perfect balance of taste. The tom yum soup was also impressive, rich, aromatic, and authentic. However, there was one noticeable downside. If you arrive a bit late, especially after around 6:30 PM, be prepared to wait for quite a long time, sometimes over an hour. The restaurant seems to have limited staff, with only one chef, one assistant, and one server handling everything. Despite there being empty tables, some were left uncleared while the staff attended to other tasks, which slowed down the overall service. I believe the restaurant has great potential, especially with the quality of its food. As a suggestion, they could consider hiring part-time staff during peak hours to help manage the crowd more efficiently. This would significantly improve service speed and enhance the overall dining experience for customers.

This Thai restaurant is a halal-certified place, which makes it an important option for the Muslim community in Taiwan. However, last night might be the last time we dine here. We’ve been regular customers, and usually, the food has been decent. The crispy chicken, for example, is quite good. But when we ordered a beef dish last night, the meat tasted like it had been left out too long—it didn’t taste fresh and had an off flavor. We tried to discuss this with the owner to understand what might have happened. But what surprised me was how the owner insisted that there was nothing wrong with the food. For us, that was quite concerning, because this wasn’t just a matter of taste—it seemed like a potential health issue. I noticed that another reviewer mentioned a similar experience here. So, why insist that it’s just a “style” of cooking?

High recommend if you are looking for Halal restaurant. Delicious Thai cuisine for families & affordable prices. The owner allows customer cars to park in front of the restaurant but we need to come early only fit two cars & several motorcycles. There is space on the second floor for moeslim prayers.

Alhamdulillah, this place give me a hope especially on Chinese New Year 😆. I already came here twice and always love their prawn fried rice. Tasty, big portion, and the important thing is halal certified.
